PETA has been pushing past it's boundaries and attacking Nintendo for a while about it's "Animal Abuse". Since Nintendo hasn't done and REAL abuse PETA is basically slandering it's name unlawfully which by law, Nintendo has the right to fight back.
Everyone must realize eventually that if you keep pushing someones buttons there is bound to be payback....and usually not in your favor.

I don't really care about PETA, are more important things than fight against imaginary monsters that looks like "animals" than fight against REAL animals. More, lets fight agains imaginary monsters that most of the people love so yes, we will get more followers doing this.
I lolz more when I read in other forums pokemon fans saying things like destroy PETA or something like that.
My opinion: The news are stupid, both side, the pokefans and PETA...I see more a joke than a news

While I agree that animal abuse is downright evil, this is pushing it too far. There's a clear difference between imaginary creatures and real creatures; but apparently, PETA can't see the difference. If it involves violence, children, and video games; they'll be all over it like a pack of rabid soccer-moms.

So apparently PETA made a version of Pokemon in their views and used a lot of elements from the Pokemon series. Nintendo has responded and has sued PETA for copywriting infringement among other charges. Nintendo has a really strong case against PETA so PETA has bitten off more than they can chew on this one. What are your guys thought about this?
Got any legit proof of Nintendo actually going as far to sue Peta?
"The Devil Inside is the new scam from director William Something Something. The movie stars actors and was edited on a computer. Somewhere. This movie is the latest film in a series of very low budget films designed to look like real movies! And be released in theaters to make a quick buck via a horribly off kilter budget to profit ratio that the general public seem to be stupidly unaware of! These films use to be called 'direct to video' but now they are called 'first run features'. These films then vanish from the theaters, like a rapist leaving the scene of a crime." - Mike Stoklasa of RedLetterMedia

My jimmies, the jimmies of all jimmies, have been rustled.
They want to try. SO HARD. To protect things that don't exist....while the countless strays aren't under PETA's line of sight.
My Calibrations are finished.
