@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

Huh. The ending was kinda disappointing. I was expecting Naugus to finally get foiled by the group.

But what the heck, I'm still excited for the next issue. Will Naugus succeed? (Most likely not.) And who's the traitor? I guess we'll have to wait and find out.

I was fairly certain Geoffrey was the traitor.

However Silver insists that it's someone else.

Having read this one, I gotta say I was pretty dissapointed... both by the conclusion to this arc, and a certain Big Revelation that takes place in it. I won't go any further, but this one didn't do it for me... a shame as I was enjoying the Arc.

It appears Geoffrey is but there really isnt enough evidence to back it up.
Some say that he knows 2 facts about ducks, and both of them are wrong. And that 61 years ago he accidentally introduced Her Majesty The Queen to a Greek racialist. All we know is, I'm going to the tower now to have my head cut off, and he is called The Stig.

Other than the fact that, y'know, he actually DID betray the Freedom Fighters, and we know it for a fact. Like, even if he isn't THE Traitor, he definitely is A traitor, so it's kind of amusing to consider that the comic apparently doesn't think to make the connection at all, even to say "no, he jumped ship for Naugus, but he's not the one we're looking for".

And if that were the case, it'll be rewarded with a nice hefty dose of dull surprise.

I can see it, whatever Silver does in the past will be the cause of his future happening, not exactly the most original idea ever when it comes to a time travelling storyline. Time travel stories can be a bitch to write especially when the goal is to change the future.

As for the traitor, having Sally as it seems the most obvious choice giving her current state, and as such can hardly be considered shocking and surprising at all. But we don't actually get to see the poster after Harvey has marked off Antoine and the other two and while Sally does occupy the top right corner and the way the markers are placed on the poster when we see the back of it seems indicate it's her and if it is her, they might as well of shown us now instead of cocking about because it wouldn't take a genius to figure it out there. But I noticed the way Harvey holds the poster seems to change, like he is turning it, so perhaps the idea is to trick people into thinking it's Sally and it'll be someone else. I dunno, just a hunch.

It'd be more of a shock if say Rotor was the traitor or hell, even Sonic. Having Sally as the traitor seems so bloody obvious at this point with her being roboticized and loyal to Eggman that if Flynn pulls out "Surprise! It was Sally as the traitor!" then the dude seriously needs to learn how to pull off a shocking revelation, because the best ones are the ones that leave no clues at all and then BAM! they show up and smack you in the face! A good example for this would be the Doctor Who story 'Earthshock' where the first episodes cliffhanger revealed the enemy to be the Cybermen who hadn't been on the series for 8 years and there were no clues at all about who the monsters for this story were.

But anyways, it's still to be revealed. I know people are bitching about this whole traitor thing and they are certain it's Sally, but again, if it were obvious, they might as well have shown us. All we can do, as readers, is wait for it to be revealed.
'Star Wars' is my story, just like my house is my house. So if I wanna paint my house green, even if everyone else thinks it should be red, guess what? I'm gonna paint it Jar Jar! - George Lucas

"The Devil Inside is the new scam from director William Something Something. The movie stars actors and was edited on a computer. Somewhere. This movie is the latest film in a series of very low budget films designed to look like real movies! And be released in theaters to make a quick buck via a horribly off kilter budget to profit ratio that the general public seem to be stupidly unaware of! These films use to be called 'direct to video' but now they are called 'first run features'. These films then vanish from the theaters, like a rapist leaving the scene of a crime." - Mike Stoklasa of RedLetterMedia

Also isn't Mammoth Mogul Silver's source? There could be no traitor.

This stuff is getting confusing...
Some say that he knows 2 facts about ducks, and both of them are wrong. And that 61 years ago he accidentally introduced Her Majesty The Queen to a Greek racialist. All we know is, I'm going to the tower now to have my head cut off, and he is called The Stig.
