@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

Definitely. Can you imagine Jaleel trying to sing in that voice? ...I wouldn't recommend it.

Ironically though, when Jaleel did do some singing in Satam, it actually wasn't that bad. It was better than those singers in SU to me at least.

I don't recall him singing in SatAM. Granted, it's been awhile.

yea when did he sing in SatAM??
Some say that he knows 2 facts about ducks, and both of them are wrong. And that 61 years ago he accidentally introduced Her Majesty The Queen to a Greek racialist. All we know is, I'm going to the tower now to have my head cut off, and he is called The Stig.

Didn't she have a singing voice actor though?

What alot of people don't know is that the singing voice for Sonia was none other than Louise (aka Stevie) Vallance, the same person who gave us the character Catty Carlyle's (from AoStH) famous "Sawnik the hedgehawg! You can't catch what you can't see!" ect ect

Seems fitting, doesn't it?

I don't remember him singing, but I do remember that in the pilot he was playing around on his guitar while arguing with Rotor over what kind of song he could woo Sally with.

See...they're already paying someone else to voice act for her anyways....why not just use her full time.

No clue. She had already had voice acting experiance, such as being 'Mouse' in Reboot. I guess her fee would have been too much. I can only imagine what Maurice LaMarche's fees were, seeing as he played half of all the characters to ever appear throughout the series. There could have been time constraints also.

On the other hand, one of the things I liked about Jaleel White being all three triplets was that the dialog between them (Urkel voice aside) sounded relatively natural, which is usually one of my big gripes with any cartoon.

It's hard to hold a conversation when you're all recording at separate times.

Now he didn't do a bad job mind you....but Sonia's voice was too annoying for who she was. She was supposed to have been raised proper and supposed to be attractive for a hedgie. However....her voice doesn't fit that.

That works. And less singing in general

That would improve the series greatly.

Or replace it with good singing.

But Knuckles also had to be fixed. I mean...what's the point of having spikes on your gloves if all you are gunna do is spin your arms at your side?

I don't really understand why alot of the Voice cast in AOSTH where Candian where as Most of the Satam cast where American.

the Actors who voiced in Both AOSTH and Satam where:
Jaleel White - Who voices Sonic (in Both Series)
Jim Cummings - Robotnik (in Satam) and Scrach and Grounder (in the AOSTH pilot).
Phil Hayes - Scrach (in AOSTH) and Young Antoine (in Satam Blast to the Past).
Terry Klassen - Various Characters in AOSTH and Possibly SatAM.
Ian James Corlett - Coconuts (in AOSTH) and Possibly Various Characters in SatAM.

I think it might've had something to do with the company's location. DIC is a Canadian production and a majority of their shows were written, produced, and recorded there. With SatAM being DIC's answer to ABC's request for a darker series, I suspect they hired more American voice actors in order to appeal more to the American audience.

Don't forget "Sonic Underground". Jaleel White not only voiced Sonic in the series, but also his siblings Manic and Sonia. Phil Hayes also voiced Bartleby, and Corlett also did Knuckles and Cyrus. In addition, Gary Chalk (who voiced Grounder in AoStH) also did Robotnik.

I still think Jim Cunnings was the best Robotnik voice

I've been thinking this over for a while and I finally concocted a list of various voice actors I'd like to hear sometime (or return) in another Sonic show:

Sonic the Hedgehog – James Arnold Taylor

Bunnie Rabbot / Charmy Bee – Tara Strong

Antoine Depardieu / Mighty the Armadillo / Dr. Finitevus – Rob Paulsen

Rotor the Walrus – Jess Harnell

Manic the Hedgehog – Jason Marsden

Sonia the Hedgehog / Rouge the Bat – Tress MacNeille

NICOLE / Lupe the Wolf – Cree Summer

Sir Charles – David Ogden Stiers

Dr. Robotnik / Dingo – Jim Cummings

Snively / Nack the Weasel – Charlie Adler

Knuckles the Echidna – John DiMaggio

Espio the Chameleon / Ari the Ram – Phil LaMarr

Big the Cat – Bill Fagerbakke

Shadow the Hedgehog – Dante Basco

E102 Gamma / Orbot – Cory Burton

Sleet the Wolf / Swatbots – Maurice LaMarche

Bean the Dynamite Duck / Ixis Naugus – Tom Kenny

Fiona Fox – Grey DeLisle

Mephiles – Clancy Brown

Any characters I might've skipped (Sally, Tails, Amy, Cream, ect.) were ones I haven't decided yet. This list was harder than it looks.

NO. Tom Kenny would make Ixis Naugus into another Ice King.

As for Mephiles, JEREMY IRONS MASTER RACE.

Also, I think it would be highly amusing if Seth Green attempted Rotor. Let the Joker puns flyyyyy!
