Anyway, I just watched the “Blockbuster Buster's” list of the top 10 voice-over actors; and despite my personal dislike towards some of his reviews, I actually enjoyed it. I recognized many of my favorite voice actors from various different shows (including SatAM), and it's not often you see them featured in a countdown video dedicated to their work.
But as I was watching, a sudden thought came to my mind. If Sega does authorize a new Sonic show featuring the SatAM cast, what voice actors would most likely return? I have no doubt some of the original voices like Rob Paulson, Jim Cummings, and maybe Kath Soucie and Charlie Adler would return; but some have grown too old for the role (Bradley Pierce) while others gone into retirement (Christine Cavanaugh) or already died (the late William Windom). So if a new Sonic show were to air, what voice actors would you choose to fill in their shoes?
Personally, for Bunnie Rabbot, I'd probably pick Tara Strong (mostly because I find her voice very similar to Cavanaugh's). And for Rotor, maybe Jess Harnell; just to give his character an extra bit of a nerdy personality. I'd love to see other characters appear in the series as well, like maybe Knuckles being voiced by John DiMaggio and Sonic's sister Sonia voiced by Tress MacNeille.
Those are some of my picks. Who would you choose?

I know he does other voices, but I can't help but picture this being Knuckles with Bender's voice.like maybe Knuckles being voiced by John DiMaggio

That being said though I think Steven Blum could do Knuckles rather well. He's done people from Jamie (Megas XLR) who are comedic to Wolverine (Pretty much any time someone voice acts him anymore). I think he could do both a humorous and a serious knuckles.
Another Voice actor I like is Quinton Flynn (mostly known for being Axel in Kingdom Hearts) who currently voices Silver The Hedgehog in the games. Now I'm not a big fan Silver, but Flynn also did additional voices in Sonic Underground, so I think he could do someone in a SatAM remake. Probably he'd play minor rolls still, like other mobians.

Other than that...
Sonic-Shia lebouf. Feel free to throw bricks at me. I hated jaleel's voice.
Tails-......I dunno, haley joel osment?
Robotnik: if Bruno Ganz or Christian Redl knew english. Bruno Ganz can rant robotnik, and Redl has the tone of Satam robotnik sometimes.
Uncle Chuck-John Cleese. What, are you angry? I didn't expect a spanish inquisition!
Snively-Nolan North....WITH SHARP THINGS!

And if you watch the Hitler rant parodies, you know Bruno Ganz has the robotnik ranting potential. Or Christian Redl(Jodl in the parodies)

John Cleese as Uncle Chuck...now that's something I've got to see
Somehow, I don't think Uncle Chuck would be quite as tender and compassionate.

Steven Blum would be an awesome Knuckles. He recently did the voice of Oghren in Dragon Age Origins and Awakening, and he does Orichimaru in Naruto. I can see him as Knuckles now.
I don't care what everyone says, I think Long John Baldry would've fit robotnik in everrrry way....poor guy.

No Shia Lebouf, NO! Jaleel was good but Roger Craig Smith has been good and John Cleese is good for Uncle Chuck but what about the guy who played him in Underground??

Sonic; Roger Craig Smith or Jaleel White(Smith is one of the few Sonic VA's from the games that I don't hate. He actually does a good job. Jaleel, of course, was great as the original voice. I felt like the two were very invested in their roles, so either one could work.)
Sally; Kath Soucie(No competition. Can't beat the original.)
Robotnik; Frank Welker or Jim Cummings(Welker can definitely do a menacing voice when he needs to, and Cummings of course was great in the original show.)
Snively; Steve Blum(Starscream from Transformers Prime)
Tails; Andy Pessoa(Raf Esquivel from Transformers Prime)
Bunnie; Jennifer Cody(Charlotte from The Princess and the Frog. Need I say more?)
Antoine; Rob Paulsen or Jean Reno(Original voice actor or the only French actor I know. Either one could work, though with Reno, a minor personality tweak may be required)
Rotor; Mark Ballou or Zach Galifinakis(The voice from season 1. As for why I chose Galifinakis, there's just something about his voice that just feels like it could work.)
Knuckles; Travis Willingham(A massive step up from Dan Green, and the voice actor of Roy Mustang from Fullmetal Alchemist. TINY MINISKIRTS!
Geoffrey St. John; Hugh Jackman(Come on. Why not?)
Hershey Cat; Dana Delany(Lois Lane from the animated Superman series)
Scourge the Hedgehog; Quinton Flynn or Chris Patton(Reno from Final fantasy 7/ Axel/Lea from Kingdom Hearts or Greed from Fullmetal Alchemist)
Ken "Monkey" Khan; Todd Haberkorn(Ling Yao from Fullmetal Alchemist)
Julie-Su; Sumalee Montano(Arcee from Transformers Prime)
Those are just to name some.

Yeah....part of why I didn't like Underground....every time Sonia opened her mouth.....Uhh...it was Jaleel who voiced not only Sonic but all three siblings in Underground. No Shia Lebouf, NO! Jaleel was good but Roger Craig Smith has been good and John Cleese is good for Uncle Chuck but what about the guy who played him in Underground??
To be fair, Jaleel did his best to sound distinctive with each hedgehog. And for the most part, it was pretty good.
But I agree, they should've chosen a voice actress for Sonia's part. Jaleel's voice for Manic was fine, but Sonia's was a bit abrasive at times. That's one of the reasons why I would've picked Tress MacNeille for the role. Her voice for Babs Bunny in "Tiny Toon Adventures" seems to fit the character better than what the show's producers decided to settle with.
And there were other actors featured in the show that did a really good job as well. Maurice Lamarche (best known for voicing Kif Kroker in "Futurama" and the Brain in "Pinky and the Brain") was the perfect voice for Sleet the Wolf; and his voice for the Swatbots in both SatAM and "Underground" were pretty threatening. And Peter Wilds' performance as Dingo has to be one of the funniest character portrayals I've ever seen. Nappa, eat your heart out.

Yeah....part of why I didn't like Underground....every time Sonia opened her mouth.....
I couldn't agree more.
I mean, really... why in the world did DIC think a guy voicing a female hedgehog would work? Jaleel to his credit tried to make it sound decent at times, but this was a part clearly reserved for a woman or girl. The fact DIC wouldn't even pay for one for a main character shows me how cheap they were getting in their declining years.

Didn't she have a singing voice actor though?
Definitely. Can you imagine Jaleel trying to sing in that voice? ...I wouldn't recommend it.
