Check this out, well, it post to be a TV Anime Parody of Sonic, Mario, and the other video games characters from the Sega and Nintendo series... actually there's one problem: THEY'LL HUMANS!!! Uh-Oh

As you said...yes humans, but I don't see it like something negative, I see like a challenge. Let's see if they make a good animation with human-parody (that is hard)...We can't say is bad If we aren't see before
Anyway Is more easy make a human world than try to gather all the worlds where all come from

Well it's a pardoy show about the glorious days of the console wars, so I don't see it as an actual Sonic show.

The story re-imagines the real-life console wars as a fantasy tale — the Segua Kingdom is locked in an age-old war with the Ninterudo Empire for dominance of the land of Consume. Segua now finds itself on the defensive, but an unlikely hero has risen in the form of Gear, a boy who brags about his breakneck speed. Gear helps turn the tide of the war.
Now change Gear for Sonic and looks like he is the main character...is not a Sonic show but looks like he will be more than a simple character and the story sounds the rescue of Sonic in the 90 videogames war, so yes...it not a a sonic show, but can be considerated as one, because tells the "story" of Sonic
