We all have some questionable tastes in our childhood. When I was a kid, I actually liked SMW the most out of the Mario shows. Now that I'm an adult, I'm a bit mystified by how I liked any of them.

As a kid the very few episodes I saw were great.
Looking back now not so much.
But Sonic Underground also suffered from nail-on-chalkboard songs and bad voice acting. They still made more Sonic cartoons.
Well, I guess that goes for most shows. What may seem cool and awesome as child becomes either embarrassing or completely unbearable as we grow older. Shows like "Inspector Gadget" and the 80's "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" are good examples of this. Both shows had memorable characters and charm, but the lackluster writing and animation quickly become their biggest problems. Even shows with better quality writing and animation like "DuckTales" and "Tiny Toon Adventures" aren't completely ageless.
While "Sonic Underground" has some glaring flaws, it's probably the most ageless of the DIC produced Sonic cartoons. Both AoStH and SatAM share flaws that make them feel dated, such as the occasional sloppy animation, the sudden characteristic mistakes, and the dated 90's pop culture jokes.
Personally, I think Maurice Lamarche was the best voice actor in "Sonic Underground". The voices he provided for Sleet, the Swatbots, and the Oracle were pretty top notch in his department. In fact, many critics mistook his voice for Knuckles' great-grandfather Athair for the real Sawn Connery.

Sometimes your hatred or fear of a TV show, movie, comic, or a book when you're a kid can feel outdated overtime. For example, I was vaguely scared of the part when the witch stabbed Aslan in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe of the 1989 British serial when I was around 3 though I forgot about it overtime. Now I'm older, it wasn't scary as I thought. For the horror movie genre I'm really still scared of them even with bad writing and/or bad acting though I gave them a chance once in a while. I also used to never bother with any girly shows, but I broaden my tastes thanks to Sailor Moon.As a kid the very few episodes I saw were great.

It's not finished yet... but I'm working on it and until it's done, I'll might post it someone on the fan fiction forms, and to get your fans reaction.
ANyone else have their own fan fiction of their Sonic tv series or movie project?

Since Sonic X is still off the air, everybody... tell me. Do some of you Sonic fans ever wrote (Like Fan Fiction) your own Sonic TV series? I did... and it might be greater then SatAM!

I've already had a series in mind for quite a while. You can view it here at http://sonicfanon.wi...i/Sonic_Satam-X.
My series is entitled "Sonic SatAM-X" (not to be confused with SonicSatamX93's series), and it's basically a revamped retelling of the SatAM series mixed with elements from the Sega games, "Underground" and both the Archie and Fleetway series. Not only does it blend most of the continuities together, but also fixes many of the previous show's problems (such as certain character portrayals and continuity errors).
If anybody has any suggestions, just post them on the article's talk page.

BBBBBUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But the thing that set me off was...
They gave Robotnik standards.
A man who went BRAINMELTINGLY CRAZY TRYING TO CATCH SONIC...
And he has standards.
A man who wanted to roboticize everyone and take over the world....
And he has standards.
A man who STEPPED ON EVERYONE TO GET ON TOP...
And he has standards.
THAT'S LIKE DECLAWING A BEAR!!!
The one chance he had to get rid of them once and for all, and he said it wasn't right.
DRRRRRRRGHHHHHH! BROOKLYN RAAAAAAAAAGE!
But seriously. WHY?!
Proud servant of the God-Emperor. His Will be done.
