Sonic #242/su #45/sssm #5/graphic Novels Previews

The break for Sonic Universe makes sense though. They needed a "filler" for #45, so the Chaotix arc can take up 46-49 and then #50 will either be a big stand-alone issue or the start of a big-time arc. Not sure if this still applies since the Megaman crossover announcement, but #50 is suppose to feature an important event that has a direct effect on Sonic #250.
I just hope they don't pull something in 242 like this:
Eggman: "Hey Sonic! If you and your friends can defeat me and my robots at some games, I promise to keep the Death Egg away from your precious city and not use Mecha Sally for 2 weeks!"
Sonic: "It's a deal Eggman, we could both use a break!"
Issue features Sonic and friends beating Eggman/robots in a series of games.
Eggman: "Curse you Sonic! Oh well, you know I'm a man of my word!"
Eggman then leaves as the heroes are all like "Yeah, right!" and we go 100% back to normal in 243.
I would much, much rather see this issue as either a dream Sonic is having or one of those "In Another Place, In Another Time" issues. Pretty much the same thing for Sonic Universe 45. Going by the story, the freedom fighters hatred for Robotnik/Eggman is at an all-time high and Eggman is turning more and more in to the ruthless, heartless villain we all knew and loved. I have no problem with a light-hearted, silly issue, but just don't make it canon, especially with the way the story is going right now!

If that does indeed happen, I will lose all respect for Sega as a company.
I sure know Ian wouldn't want to add anything like that to this story, though it's not like he's doing a bang up job on his own anyway I have to say.

STH#241 is a 20-page, in-continuity story. A major point in the Naugus subplot.
STH#242 is a 15-page an tie-in event, then a 5-page in-continuity lead-in to #243.
STH#243 is a 20-page in-continuity story, and the start of the Knuckles story we've been promising you.
Over in Sonic Universe...
SU#044 will conclude "Secret Freedom," and be placed before STH#241 in continuity
SU#045 is a full issue tie-in event
SU#046 starts the Chaotix arc, which will deal with the Mighty subplot.
The tie-in events are out of continuity. They're "Another Time/Another Place."
Glad to read that and also glad that we will at least get a little bit of the "real story" in 242.

Yes, finally. We can now read Mighty's Journey to find his sister though the tie in ruin the flow of 4 issues per arc but whatever. Here's a quote directly from Ian:

It is weird that the comic is tieing in the 2012 Olympics even though it had no history of doing that, but whatever it's either SEGA's or Archie's decision. While I'm a bit weary about this, but maybe it might be decent.

now, my question is, what about Bunnie, and Antoine?
I've got a strong feeling Bunnie will end up a brainwashed Dark Egg legionnaire and Antoine will require cybernetics to help rebuild his blown up body.

if that happens, i won't be surprised

Still unsure on Antoine. I almost think Naugus' magic will still come in to play here AND with Mecha Sally. If Naugus can fix Bunnie, why not Sally? And if it's not Naugus... perhaps another wizard... a little bit of redemption for Geoffrey perhaps? Or if Naugus' magic wears off once he is defeated, we could see Bunnie's cybernetics coming back after the Secret Freedom arc.

I think most of us expect Bunnie to come back (or possibly have some "mini-stories" in the upcoming comics) with her robotic parts... which would mean she most likely was legionized. I doubt she would be brainwashed at first, but I would expect some kind of consequences.
If Ian is going with this where I believe he's going with this, then Bunnie will appear normal at first, but then out nowhere, her brainwashing will kick in full force. And it'll probably be when the heroes guard is completely down too.
