Those of us who watch Linkara have heard him babbble about how GODAWFUL sonichu is, and ivve read some of it myself...IT IS TOTAL CRAP. The only good character is Magichu, who actually realizes that he is surrounded by morons. I also watched the animated cartoons making fun of CWC and Sonichu, and they are disturbing at times BUT HILARIOUS. It does justice to the poor comics...and gives Mary Lee Walsh the manliest voice in the history of web animation...and entertains some of us overtly. But...enough about that...what are your opinions on these, both the comic and the animation...and maybe the incredibly nerdy CWC?

I saw some episodes of animation. Sadly I cant understand whole episodes...my capacity for understand vocal english is bad. I like how is "draw" the animation and is funny...I will watch more tomorrow.

The cartoon is a parody of the actual comic and Chris's life and to get a full grasp on the whole thing you need a deeper understanding of the whole thing(hence the cwcki link above).

Trust me when I say the real thing all together is more funny and surreal then the cartoon it's based on.

It's not about making fun of him because he is autistic. Chris Chan is something unique.

See, he claims to be a high-functioning autistic person yet has truely shown to prove that. He has an ego that rivals William Shatner's, the guy went about making his own wikipedia page to prove how famous he truely is only for it to get taken down and then rage and demand at his "fans" to make the wikipedia admins return it. He treats people like crap but expects to be treated like a special snowflake. He never does anything wrong at all and if forced to apologise, he gives the lamest ones ever.

He has been known to do insanely stupid things of his own accord and then once realising just how stupid he has been, will quickly blame it on internet trolls. Now true, they have made him do somethings that he has rightfully blamed them for, but he blames them for everything to save face and in all fairness, he has probably done more on his own then under troll influence. He racked himself up a nice amount of debt which totalled in the thousands on the Playstation Network, buying games he never played or DLC for games he didn't even own! When he told his old man about this debt, he was quick to say that internet trolls got a hold of his bank details and racked up a huge bill.

I think the biggest insult though is he uses his autism as a crutch. If faced with something he can't handle, he is quick to use it as a security blanket, but will constantly claim how he is so much better then everyone else. He seems to hate other people with autism as well, and if you have aspergers, watch the fuck out! Because he'll be quick to tell you how you are stealing the "limelight" from the true autistic people.

Is it wrong they troll an autistic person? Maybe it is, but when said person is a piece of shit like Chris Chan with no respect for others and who brings about these things to himself, I don't feel bad for him at all.

I find Sonichu better then both the current Sonic universe and the current comics, and yes I am being serious and not being ironic.
Mainly because Sonichu is so lame and stupid it makes me laugh on how totally idiotic it is, its kind of like the movie The Room or Plan 9 in that respect.
Or even the Twilight saga for that matter.

Yeah I don't like chris-chan himself, much like I actually don't like Stephanie Meyer that much but I love the universes they created because of how idiotitc they are.
I admit it, I have bad tastes in some things but I get a laugh from it to say the least.

The manchild responsible for this mess is the living embodiment of everything wrong with the Sonic fanbase. The worst part is that people like him make people like me look bad.

 

He expects people to give him a free pass because of his autism and yet he treats others who have autism like crap. He believes that people like me have "taken the limelight away from true and honest autism", which is not only in and of itself absurd, but also considering the "limelight" he's given autism what sane person would want it?

 

Thankfully not everyone with high-functioning autism uses it as a crutch. In fact a personal hero of mine had the same condition but used it as a rocket. He wasn't a good student, and everyone thought he was stupid, lazy, and a failure. And yet he went on to make important discoveries involving light, space, gravity, time, and even the true power of the atom.

So what is your excuse now Chris? You gonna blame this on the trolls too? Or the jerkops? Or the homos or blacks? Or the dean of the college you got kicked out of for creeping out the female students? One of these days he's going to run out of people to blame.

Reading Sonichu is like watching a train wreck happening. You know it's gonna be bad, but you can't look away.

 

Personally, I find the Sonichu comics fascinating. It shows that Chris Chan doesn't have a single creative back bone in his body, nearly every single thing in the comic is plagiarized from other material. Sonichu itself is the bastard love child of Sonic and a random Pikachu. Rosechu meanwhile is just Amy Rose with a Raichu tail. The Chaotix Combo? Just Sonics and Amys mixed with other Pokemon and the random Knuckles one who is racial sterotype. No brownie points for what Metal Sonichu is based off of.

 

And then there's the fact he rips off other things too. Like the Black Knight sketch from Monty Python and the Holy Grail and plenty of other things too. Sooo much ripped off.

 

He even rips off stuff from his personal life. When the comic first started it was about Sonichu, but very quickly it became all about Chris himself. Anything and anyone that he didn't like, be them in his real life or internet trolls quickly became fodder for the comic, since he couldn't defeat them in real life, he could make himself the hero in the comic and beat them up there.

 

Very little of the comic is actual original material, but Chris thinks it's okay to rip these things off by simply labelling them "parodies". While the whole comic can be seen as one huge parody, all the material itself he has taken isn't a parody. However, it is brilliant that Chris does his "parodies", but when someone actually does take any of his "original" characters and does do an actual, genuine parody with them, Chris goes full on butt hurt and threatens them and attempts to scare them with legal action.

 

However... Is the Sonichu comic is any good? Fuck no, it's actually painful to read sometimes, but sometimes there would be a real gem in there which could make me lose my shit, like the infamous Wedding (aka the Giant Penis) comic.

 

However, the Asperchu comic series was the shit!
