@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

The sequel to Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing has been officially announced this morning...and it looks like someone has been playing Mario Kart 7!  Here's the trailer:

See? Mario Kart 7! To be fair, though, Sega has acknowledged the similarities and is claiming that it will feel different. Aside from the new Flying and boating mechanics, there are also new characters, tracks, and even a story mode. It has been confirmed for release this holiday season, and it appears to be the big Sonic game or the second half of the year. It is coming to PS3, Xbox 360, PS Vita, and Nintendo 3DS, with console exclusives for each. It can also be assumed that Steam will get it eventually, and a Wii U version is being speculated.

So, how excited are you? Do you think this is original, or just Sega milking the Mario Kart formula?

Tyler

Pfft. Forget Mario Kart. Mario Kart got the idea from DIDDY KONG RACING (N64).

DKR featured the choice of Vehicle between Plane, Car, and Hovercraft (boat). Mario Kart took that idea and made it so you Car (Kart) changes between the three. This game is just taking it one step further.

Though yes DKR stole their racing game idea from Mario Kart...but they're both Nintendo so it's all good.

I know...I know...but This just screamed Mario Kart 7 more than Diddy Kong Racing. Though, some rumors are saying that you can switch on the fly between the three...I hope that's true!

Never tried Tennis...I really do like All Stars Racing. It has a different feel then Mario Kart...more skill needed. Though the Tracks are basically the same six over and over again.

The only racing game I really enjoy was Crash Team Racing. I played Mario Kart for DS, and Sonic All stars racing for Xbox 360 too, and I have the same opinion of this one...just another racing game.

Meh...never was into Crash so never played it. Not much of a racing game fan either. Though Destruction Derby 64, Mario Kart, and Jak X Combat Racing have weaseled into my favorite games box.....Episode 1 Racer almost.....

Im not fan of racing too...I only like Sonic R (the gameplay of search "secrets" in middle of the race), Crash Team Racing and Destruction Derby Raw.

First of all, I dont like serious like "Gran Turismo", I tend to make stupid thinks with my cousin...like race with trucks that dont reach more than 50km/h and try to up a hill...Remember when we were near to reach the top and he hit me...we decrease the speed because of the hit and we both go down and we must back to the start for accelerate again and try to reach the top of the hill XDD.

Other like Sonic Racing, Crash Team Racing, Destruction Derby Raw or Mario Kart are funny...but I dont see really funny now.

When I played CTR...was on Playstation 1 with multitap with my 3 friends on my house....that cant replace play alone or online. The moment when you pass your friend just before reach the end with random stuff and all laugh... are epic moments that one solo or online game cant replace. Thats why CTR is my favourite

Old times when we enjoyed all the summer with the multitap playing Quake II and CTR...I really miss the old times where If you want play together, you must meet in person, not online.

'Star Wars' is my story, just like my house is my house. So if I wanna paint my house green, even if everyone else thinks it should be red, guess what? I'm gonna paint it Jar Jar! - George Lucas

"The Devil Inside is the new scam from director William Something Something. The movie stars actors and was edited on a computer. Somewhere. This movie is the latest film in a series of very low budget films designed to look like real movies! And be released in theaters to make a quick buck via a horribly off kilter budget to profit ratio that the general public seem to be stupidly unaware of! These films use to be called 'direct to video' but now they are called 'first run features'. These films then vanish from the theaters, like a rapist leaving the scene of a crime." - Mike Stoklasa of RedLetterMedia

I, for one, am looking forward to this, I've played the first, and now seeing this just makes it better. Hopefully they keep the avatar in for the 360 version, and the Mii for the 3DS cause I'm thinking of getting both versions, unlike last time where I only got the 360 cause of the better graphics and music quality

The early rumors say that the X-box 360 version will be the vastly superior version, with lots of exclusive characters and tracks. They also say that Sega was pushing to try to get Kirby into the 3DS version...but Nintendo said no. Dicks.

I've heard nothing of the sort about that. Anyway, this looks like a really solid racer. I'm normally not too interested, but with the vehicle changes I think my interest could be piqued. I'll wait and see if this is something to purchase, or just something to let pass on by like the first (a fine game, but... pretty dull.)

I don't blame Nintendo for Denying them Kirby. SEGA All Stars hasn't been exactly known for their great success. They're not failures, but not really successful either.
