When was that? Depending on when it was, it might have been a DNS issue. Those should be gone now.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

on*

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

What I mean is that people who do these bad things because they were abused in the past or had some tragic accident that altered their behavior for the worse. Now I'm not saying that everyone who had a bad past would go to that path, but it seems that's always the case in both fiction and reality like Magneto and Ottis Toole. Also, I'm aware that a bad past doesn't excuse their actions. Who knows, maybe there are people never been abused or had this accident and yet they do terrible things in the future and vice versa. Some of you probably think that this is a ridiculous, nonsensecal topic, but that's just me. I just want to know about your thoughts on it.
P.S. If this topic offends you because you're in a situation like this then I'm sorry.

I believe that anyone from any background can be either good or bad.

Mmm...well it seems like a social and behavioral problem to me. Some soldiers who return from war have PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) where they are unable to function normally. Sometimes, they even abuse their friends and family.

I also, believe it or not, went to a prison as a learning experience where I met people who were gang members and were sentenced to life in prison for killing innocent lives. When they mean there is no privacy in prison, there is none, zilch...nada...Before they return to their cells they are sent under a metal detector similar to the ones at our airports. Furthermore, they are getting some education to be less violent. Now...am I to say all people will change after therapy? No. Unfortunately some people are just idiots--like people who tape themselves beating the crap out of each other, throwing an innocent animal off a cliff, or even photographing themselves after killing their first man as a soldier. These things happen and sometimes you have to know when to say its BS and when to get people straight if that's even possible for them.

Villains are supposed to be diverse because they make us question the sanity of the hero--nothing is entirely made of just good and evil. In my opinion its more complex, which is why your question is so debatable, and a great one at that. It makes me wonder if scientists will be able figure which people can change after therapy, and which ones can't. It chills me to think of the results.

I think the whole "I did it because I had a bad history" angle is pure Grade A Bullshit. Some of the world's greatest heroes had it worse off than most of the assholes who cling to this theory. It's all part of the "I'm not accountable for my actions" nonsense that the filthy hippies want you to believe. Everyone is responsible for what they do, even if society refuses to acknowledge that anymore. We should be putting these people and their supporters in the ground.

Projection: If Intruder Organsim reaches civilized areas...

Entire world population infected 2,7000 hours from first contact.
