When was that? Depending on when it was, it might have been a DNS issue. Those should be gone now.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

on*

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

Why not? Since she's now roboticized, Eggman might as well put her to use.

In a way, Eggman's using her sacrifice to his advantage. Now that's evil!

Can't say I'm crazy about those "SEGA Variants" (although, in #239's case, it seems to be the standard cover for some reason). Super generic, and I don't even get what the point of them is. Here's hoping they don't become a permanent fixture.

But yet, covers are deciving, and may send hints our way, like say a certain restortation, perhaps with the help of certain A.I. in the 2nd part in the 240th issue, seeing as it will be ten issues, since said character was changed. But that is just my guess? What's your's

Ironically, I have the same nagging feeling.

From 240 and on, Sally may indeed get her mind back.

Can't imagine what her reaction her be if it turns out you're right about this.

Okay, seems promising enough, might give them a read when they arrive.

I doubt Elias will be killed off, people were getting all emo and such when #234 and #235 were previewed, saying Antoine is dead, yet last time I read #235, seemed to me that he was on life support. Plus Elias appears to be a major character in the Universe arc that will be publishing at the same time, and correct me if I'm wrong, but don't some of the Universe arcs run side by side to the actual events that happen in the ongoing series? Perhaps this arc does too?

If anything though, I'm more interesting in finding out what happens in #238 to Lupe and the Wolf pack. On the one hand the preview for #239 doesn't state anything about it, so I'm thinking that Lupe doesn't get legionized. On the other hand, Lupe and the Wolf pack aren't major players in the comic, just secondary characters who pop up now and then and thus maybe they aren't deemed important enough and they do get legionized.

And to agree with Gojira007, I'm not impressed with Archie jumping on the variant cover bandwagon either. In the comics entire run of nearly 20 years they've just pulished the one cover for all their issues, be it the ongoing series, any mini-series, the Knuckles series and so on. Then last year they started it off with #225. Seemed okay as it was a milestone issue. But now this makes the 5th variant cover in less then a year. Sure that may be a small number, but 2 of them were comic convention exclusives that now trade a hefty sum of money for. Hell, I haven't seen one of the variant covers of #226 on eBay or a long while, and that had a production run of 1,000 compared to #229's variant cover production run of 500.

Variant covers are a collector's thing if anything. Only the die hard collectors go for them. Yes, I'll be getting the variant cover of Universe #42 just for the sake of completing my collector, but I really hope it doesn't become a permanent thing with these comics. I just don't see the point in the variant covers, be them retail variants or convention exclusive variants for the Sonic comics because at the end of it, it's a comic aimed at young kids.
'Star Wars' is my story, just like my house is my house. So if I wanna paint my house green, even if everyone else thinks it should be red, guess what? I'm gonna paint it Jar Jar! - George Lucas

"The Devil Inside is the new scam from director William Something Something. The movie stars actors and was edited on a computer. Somewhere. This movie is the latest film in a series of very low budget films designed to look like real movies! And be released in theaters to make a quick buck via a horribly off kilter budget to profit ratio that the general public seem to be stupidly unaware of! These films use to be called 'direct to video' but now they are called 'first run features'. These films then vanish from the theaters, like a rapist leaving the scene of a crime." - Mike Stoklasa of RedLetterMedia

Paul Kaminski just likes them. I would expect more, at least as long as he's around.
