Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

With rumor swirling about, I thought I'd give my two cents

Heard about this a few days ago. Not sure if it's a good idea. Practicing new things is fine and all, but completely wiping out a lot of characters and back stories? Not really a good idea. A whole lot of fans loves a lot of characters they created -- Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Shadow, Rouge, The Chaotix, namely. Blaze and Silver I hear get a lot of love too.

The way the games have been going just recently, it doesn't sound like a smart move to want to change a lot of things. I rather they shovel out cheap party games using these icons to try to get money. I'm more at a fear of them completing going down hill than anything.

All to say, I hope they don't reboot anything. It scares me. But hey, who knows? May save them and be better than I thought. Maybe they'll actually do the Freedom Fighter thing we've all been wanting. Pfft, yeah right.

I'm not gonna act extreme on either. I just, as you stated in that video, feel it may be risky. But, hey, who knows?

Uh oh.

Based on a quick Google Search, and an article from ScrewAttack...it sounds like they don't have a clear plan yet. Which bodes unwell in my opinion.

It sounds like a good idea, but at the same time not a good idea. first, the open world thing sounds good, but the the whole wiping the slate clean, and 'possibly' get rid of some characters, not a good thing

I wouldn't mind if they would get rid of Amy, or at least give her more substance other than just stalking Sonic even though he doesn't really seem to want anything to do with her. :P

In Sonic Adventure she laments that she should be more independent. Yes, Amy, you should.

She'd be cute and a fun character if her Sonic obsession were dropped.

Or maybe if he throws her a bone and likes her back or something...

I think Amy would be better if she had other likes then Sonic. It seems all she can think of it Sonic and thus she is very bland. However if she had other hobbies or interests she'd be more likable.

Exactly. She seems like she has potential. I also don't mind her having a crush on Sonic, but this whole schtick about her literally stalking him and him always running away because he doesn't like her is borderline offensive. They also do stupid stuff like making her think that every single male hedgehog ever looks exactly like Sonic even when they don't look anything like him.

Bringing up Sonic Adventure again, I kind of wished they had done more with her and Gamma. That would have been a fabulous story. It's a bit more fleshed out in Sonic X, with a proper ending to the arc, but still. Stuff like that makes her shine, and it has nothing to do with Sonic.

Hopefully the characters will have more dimensions to them in the remake.

Oh, yeah that whole reboot thing was an overblown rumor.
