I really dont know how he can mistake AoStH and SatAM, is like the day and nigth , besides if he saw the last chapter, AoStH have end (A very curious end).

Anyway, I like your aim...the problem with Sonic series is no one keep one argument. Sonic X, sonic underground, SatAM, Ovas...all are diferents.

And beautifull song, I dont remember how much times I sing it, yeah, im a 19 year tennager singing songs for 5 kids and im proud of it xaxaxa.

I'm twenty years old and I still listen to the songs of shows I watched while younger. Heck my dad still hums the original Star Trek theme.

AoSth and SatAM both played around the same time, and in the US sometimes they were advertised as the same show, it isn't a big surprise that translators might get confused.

In fact the translation proccess was a little confusing.
They aired AoStH and SatAM as one show (with a WONDERFUL cast).
SatAM Season 2 was never translated.
Sonic Underground was dubbed in a different city, with an OK cast. They also dubbed Sonic Christmas Blast (which hadn't been aired yet in the US by the time AoStH was bought).
For Sonic X, although still the 4kids version, they got Sonic and Tails AoStH/SatAM voice actors, and the result was amazing (Spanish Tails is the definition for "cute").

Two examples of words easy tranlatable but not to easy because sound weirds:

Bunnie always say: SugarHog, or Sugar hedgehog. I must check on first season what she said.

I think I might be able to help you. It is a term of endearment to call someone "honey" or "sugar" because those things are sweet. (It is not standard English, BTW. Call it a "Southern" quirk )

"hog", as you seem to have already figured out, is short for "hedgehog"

The same when she say Sally-girl.

There is one uploader of youtube...I think his name is Tailsnic, upload all AoStH on spanish. He mixed two openings, one is the one you can see (If you need I can upload and subtitle on english xDD) and another one without lyrics...I dont know this last, but I assumed was the english version.

AoStH is a show for kids, so they make a opening more childish xDD, anyway epic song is epic.

Let me give it a shot.

Bunnie gives everyone short nicknames to show her friendship to them. The way she says "Sally-Girl" is similar in affect as "Sugar-Hog." It's another Southern phrase. Girl here is sorta like the affection terms "Honey," "Sugar," and "Buddy"

Unfortunately the only comparable phrases I can think of would make Bunnie sound like an old lady. Closest I can come up with is "Sally who is a girl". Though that doesn't seem to get the same affect.

It's the AoStH opening. They added lyrics to it. "Fastest Thing Alive" wasn't used, so the AoStH opening was used even in SatAM.
AoStH was bought by the channel Tele 5, which belongs to the Italian company Mediaset, so, in those years, many openings in Spain were Italian openings (sometimes in other series) with different lyrics to match the new series.

They took the Italian opening of "Widget":

As a curious fact, Sonic and Tails's voice actors returned for SatAM and for Sonic X, and the dubbing director in AoStH and SatAM, Carlos Revilla, also played Dr. Robotnik, and he's best remembered for being Homer Simpson's voice in Seasons 1 to 11 before he died in 2001 (and, so, he couldn't return in Sonic X, sadly).

Sonic's voice in Sonic Underground (the first voice of Shinichi Kudo in Detective Conan/Case Closed) also portrays him in Sonic Generations, this time, trying to sound more like the Sonic X voice, and less like his "mondo cool" performance in Sonic Underground, which only suited him in SU, but not in any other media.

After a bussy week, I decided to back to the subtitles. After finish the eng .sub something appear in my screen that catch my attention pretty good:




I know very little about TV shows, films or comics. I saw few films (for example I didnt saw Star Wars, yes....I didnt saw yet) Im rarely stay sit and see something unless I like soo much the serie or film because I know the characters from another way. So I dont know who is this guy. After googling a bit, looks like is the "story liner" of AoStH and a lot of others like Smurfs or Alvin and the chimpunks.

Someone know more about this guy?

IMDB seems to suggest his usual job was layout artist. That's basically the step in animation between storyboarding and actual animation. The layout artist decides what the background is going to look like (he doesn't paint the final background, just decides on its general appearance), where the characters are standing/sitting/whatever, and how everything (including the camera) moves. Basically, the layout artist constructs the skeleton upon which all the actual animation work is built, and possibly has the strongest influence on the look of the final cartoon.

This page starts with a few crude storyboard drawings and then has layout drawings, which should illustrate the difference pretty well. Some of the layout drawings are detailed and some are sparse, showing only what's changed; the point is to tell the animators what they need to know to do their magic.

Semi-off-topic: the new Lupin III TV series aired in Japan on April 4. In less than 24 hours, fansubbers had the entire episode subtitled in English and available for download! I'm shocked by how fast these groups can work! 24 hours would have been just about enough for me to translate a minute of the cartoon. I'm guessing they do everything like an assembly line to get it done so fast...
