Min 3:14. Imo the transcriptor fail again, Imo he say Way to juice this, and no way to juice me. Anyway im not sure and still dont know how to translate. The word juice make me fail all the time, because is a word that I thougt only mean orange juice or similar, but Sonic use the word juice constantly <.<

The other point is the Shriekbot. I tried to found something that sound similar on spanish, but I couldnt. So I think I will keep Shriekbot

Basically it's a generic tool or piece of machinery. It doesn't really need to be anything specific.

I think "generator" is a strange choice. A "generator" usually means a power source, and I wouldn't expect a roboticizer to be self-powered unless there's some evidence that they are. Why not just say something like "necesito una pieza llamada 3-3CP"?

If you have to name a piece, though, I'd personally go with "capacitor", in homage to the flux capacitor from Back to the Future. (Though capacitors are also extremely common electronics components that can be bought from any electronics store, so without specifying a specific kind of capacitor, it may seem odd.)

Only left the 'Way to juice this' and the chapter 15 is completed. I already finished the 16 sub eng. but is late and I want sleep, so I think I will finish sub esp for tomorrow.

Anyway I really enjoy the chapter 16 and I laugh a lot with 'high' purple eyes Sonic and Snivelly the Great ..I want see more so I think Im gonna try transcript one chapter or at least help a bit for get the transcripts faster...because I cant wait and I have already 17 sub hahaha. Yes..It is horrible. Is hard, I tried thinking on something similar for about 20 min, and still dont know how to translate.

I was thinking on invent some phrase that can be use there like:

"This is getting interesant", hang on Sally
"Time to animate this", hang on Sally


For me "juice this" sound me like, "animate this". Anyway like I said, the word "juice" lost me, because the only mean I knew was "jugo", a juice of something like orange...but before try something rare, I prefer hear your comments and and thinks about this phrase, like you did with 3 dash 3 E.P

What do you think about the phrases I invented?

Actually a lot of what you invented is pretty good. It's also how the professionals translate. Ex: Though you may not be an anime fan this one works: In the Japanese version of Naruto, the title character has a catch phrase that translates to "I am feeling violent." Now this was meant to say he was pumped up but wouldn't make sense in English. We get "believe it" instead.

"Time to animate this" sounds a like a fair translation. Sonic uses juice as a description of him taking action so it's not the traditional use of the word anyways.

Thanks a lot for the praise. I really appreciate because you are the first person say something good, there is about 100 or 120 watches on my subtitles, and still no one comment or click on like/dislike. So I dont know if im doing rigth or wrong the subs.

Im trying to be "loyal" to the Spanish version. Some words are easily understable because sound similar on spanish but sound weird, I tryed to find the word in first season with your transcript and compare with Spanish (Like I did with Robuttnik and Burrotnik), and with my mind, I try to create a sentence that sound different, but have the same meaning and is not weird for the spanish

Two examples of words easy tranlatable but not to easy because sound weirds:

Bunnie always say: SugarHog, or Sugar hedgehog. I must check on first season what she said. The same when she say Sally-girl. Rigth now I deleted girl because sound very rare on spanish and just let "Sally", but I must check on first season because Im sure she said that word on the first season.I just need compare the transcript and the spanish version.

Im really bussy now, and anyway I always take my whole free time on sub this, I didnt have time to check it. I will finish today 2x03, and I have the 2x04 already sub. Tomorrow , I will stop, check and fix all the chapters, and when I finish to fix , if 2x05 transcript isnt ready...time to help on transcript

I once saw that C.P. meant "Control Panel" but I don't know if it will help.

Yes, I was thinking on that, but Control Panel...we need 3 dash 3 control panel, sound....weird...I really liked the , "I need 3 pieces 3-CP" . We all know isnt the true meaning, but like I said...Sounds goods, is a mechanical piece, and is irrelevant what piece is, so I will kept it.

Is important to try be the most accurate possible, but In my opinion, is just a irrelevant piece...Doesnt matter if is called control panel, 3-CP, shity , or whatever you want call. Just something that could sound similar and isnt sound weird.

When i heard Control Panel, I imagine something big, but when I hear pieces, sound something small...And reading the full context of the scene, In my opinion they are looking for something small

Anyway Like I said, is just an irrelevant piece, nevermind. I will keep 3 piece 3-CP. I will change the piece and the way to juice me when I finish the 2x03 (only 50/247 phrases left)

And of course hammer, it helps...All the comments help to argue about all the odds and we can chose the most accurated ^^

PD: I finished and make the changes, I really thanks your help. I finaly set:
"Way to juice this" --> "Time to animate the race Sal, hang on" (Shriekbot is following him, and Sonic always take all pursuits like a "race", and sound better than only "this")
3 dash 3-CP -> " Need 3 pieces 3-PC " and change the next sentence to : " I have one on my storeroom" for " I have some on my storeroom"

"-ttebayo" doesn't mean "I am feeling violent" at all. In fact it doesn't mean all that much of anything. See, the Japanese language has these odd sentence-ending particles like "yo" and "wa" and "ze" that provide some kind of emphasis, softening, or some other modification to the tone of the sentence. For some reason, writers like to make up new ones for their characters and stick 'em at the end of just about every damn sentence in some kind of attempt to make them seem unique. King Dedede of Kirby fame gets "zoi". One I found the other day was that Punchinello in Super Mario RPG (called Pepatto in Japanese) uses "de gusu". I imagine it's more common for animal and monster-type characters, but, as with Naruto, humans occasionally get 'em. As for "-ttebayo", according to Naruto's creator, it was just intended to sound like something a child might say.

Some characters have a special word or letters, that make him unique. Some can be translatable and some not. When I see a word that one character repeat again and again, I try to check the spanish version and find the word because some is just an emphasis and not the true meaning, but like you say, some "ego" translaters want make his job "unique" and sometimes missunderstand the real meaning of that word, a really important word, because the character use it a loooooooot of times in the cartoon.

I finished all the chapters. Now I will watch again for fix if I miss something, or if I see some things dont sound good. Im not saying Im perfect, obviusly im not. But Im doing my best for make an acceptable subtitles...for all the people that will see it and judge the cartoon for my words, and not for the real.

PD: How is going the next transcript? I want see more SatAM (the last chapter I saw is 2x05) :3

Well, there could be a kernel of truth in there -- the phrase might sound like something a violent person might say, but that's about it.

Wow...I was trying to figure out how I missed so many mistakes in that transcript...when I realized it was one of the originals. What I mean by that is years ago before I came to FUS there were a few transcripts already loaded to the site. This was one of them. I never bothered to proof those...just the new ones that we've been doing the past year. Just list the errors as you find them and I'll be sure to correct them.

At least, it's my aim to make SatAM more known to the Spanish public.
Most people here know about SatAM Season 1 as "Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog Season 2".

I remember listening to some guy saying that AoStH was "very childish" but then it turned "really dark". He didn't know it, but he was, of course, talking about the change from AoStH to SatAM.
It was funny seeing how, before a SatAM episode played, the AoStH opening was shown.
