@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

On March 23rd, the new movie "The Hunger Games" will be released in theaters. Here's the trailer.

The Hunger Games Official Trailer 2012 HD - YouTube

SO! In case you are wondering what the heck is going on, i'll give you the story.

2 kids (boy and girl) between the ages of 12 to 18 are chosen from the 12 districts in Panem (The country that USED to be America.) to compete in the Hunger Games, a death match. It is the 74th Hunger Games, too. Why does this happen? As punishment for the rebellion 74 years ago. Katniss's (Main Character) litle sister is chosen, so Katniss volunteers for her. Peeta, another main character, is chosen to go with Katniss.

That's all you need to know, really. What do you guys think?

I'm currently almost finished with the last book, and I'm definitely going to see the movie. :) I don't know how well it's been marketed to people who haven't read the book though. Most of the TV spots I've seen are really short and barely get the jist of the story across.

Yeah, i wish more people would read the book. They're all amazing! I'm currently rereading the series. So far, the movie seems to be just like the book, which is great. Last movie i saw that was almost completely like the book was "To Kill a Mockingbird."

(I was about to say Mockingjay.....)

Huh...I thought I had made a topic about the movie but you're right Zane...it's in the book section. Oh well

While I'm at it...I will say that I read the first two and they're AWESOME! Once school started life got busy and I never got around to reading the last one but I just bought it yesterday and started it today. I will not see the movie until the last book is read!

I am so stoked for this movie! And while I'm at it...here's the newest trailer for the movie.

As well as the music video (which is awesome!)

I'm going Saturday most likely... I really don't like having to find a seat in a crowded theater xD It also seems to be getting good reviews, so I'm excited! YAY!

Also, I'm surprised but I actually liked that Taylor Swift song... (I find her insufferably annoying. Ugh. Good tune though and she did look quite pretty through the video)

[Inhibitor, simple is the key word there. The relationship between Peeta and Katniss is obsolete to the person of little knowledge. I tried to keep it simple is all.]

Went to go see the movie..........

HOLY CRAP! Sure, it was faster than what i wanted, but MAN! BEST. MOVIE. EVER! [Next to Scott Pilgrim.] I bought my tickets online and got to line jump with my friends. 900 tickets within an hour.

There were many differences that could be named, but overall, pretty much just like the book. Thank you Debra Zane [Casting Director] for choosing these actors.

I thought it was pretty good. Yes it was nearly 2 1/2 hours but I found myself wishing it could've been longer to extend certain scenes and add some in, of course. The biggest bummer was the theater was really crowded and I had to sit four rows from the screen >< It's hard to see the action sequences that close up, especially since they were fast and blurred as it was. I did like how they didn't just stick with Katniss but let the audience also see what was going on with the Gamemakers and other characters. Overall, they did the book justice.

Exactly. I also like how they went to Caesar and the other guy so that they could explain what some things were.

Exactly. I also like how they went to Caesar and the other guy so that they could explain what some things were.

The way that they did that was brilliant. Purists will hate it because "that wasn't in the book" but the book was entirely in Katniss' thoughts. That's something you can't do in a movie. They did a great job portraying all those things to the screen.
