Unless, if you fans would vote for a 10 rating and maybe it'll be in the top 5 great animation show.
Also, SatAM got a 8.3 on tv.com:

And listen to this: Sonic X got a 8.5. If some of you are outrage about it, then start voting for SatAM.

It was better, but it wasn't that good.
Sonic Satam really should have gotten the higher rating between the two shows.
I wonder if most of those high ratings came from young kids who sadly didn't get the privilege of growing up with a better and more interesting Sonic cartoon like we did.

I don't think even the Japanese version of Sonic X deserves an 8.5

It's not too late, you and all the SatAM fans should vote right now. And maybe someday when all the new Sonic fans will watch this, it'll be good for them and they'll vote for a 10 rating! Someday.
Like I said, vote now! And maybe somedya it'll be in the top 10 imdb animation list:

Curse this age where we have to have something higher than an 8.0.

Or some professional reviewer who actually didn't get into the series and only watched a couple episodes.
Always take any 'official' review with a grain of salt. Want to know how inaccurate those kind of reviews can be? In 1985, the critics actually HATED Phantom of the Opera. True stuff, folks.

I guess new Sonic fans today really don't get Sonic SatAM. Oh well.
But who care about the rating any way... it's still a good show to watch.

It deserves higher than that!
Maybe we should call out for more sonic satam fans to vote on this and give this a 10 rating!

An very rare photo of the late singer Aaliyah next to a statue of Sonic...
Now that is "One In A Million!"

I say we need more people to vote for this TV show with as much honesty and professionalism as possible. Rate it a 3, rate it a 10- whatever, as long as it gets attention either negative or positive, that at least keeps the 20 year old cartoon relevant.
Man I can't believe it's been that long. 20 years. 20 years ago, I was 5, though I remember watching this show every Saturday even when it was a rerun, and I'm proud to say, having owned the SaTAM DVD collection, that it's still an amazing show to watch and nostalgia is hardly blinding me.
I may review it when I finish re-watching it. I just finished Ultra Sonic and am looking forward to going all the way yet again to the end of the season. : )

I love how the some of the reviewers backfeed current SegaSonic canon into a show that was the contemporary of the Genesis' Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Sonic CD, long before any real Sega story-lines or even a cast of characters had been established. So depressing that people like this vote.
I love my God, my wife, my 5 kids, and I like my guns, my beer, my whiskey, and my pickup.
I dislike politicians, policemen, diet foods, no-smoking signs, and mowing the lawn.
I like Sonic games from the Genesis days, tolerate the Sonic Adventure series, can stomach Sonic Heroes, and can't stand the rest.
And there is only one true story of Sonic, SatAM.

6.8 to 7.2 isn't that bad. That's still a fair deal above average.
Let's be fair, the show wasn't perfect enough to earn a 10. 7 to 8 is probably the ideal rating for Satam, ie. a good enjoyable show but with evident flaws that bring down it's potential at times. I feel the same for most of the other Sonic cartoons.
The more negative reviews vary in quality and maturity, but some of them do make a good point in why they've rated it lower. I think Satam is one of the most polarizing depictions of the franchise, it has very vocal fans AND detractors and as many of us have sadly witnessed, a few of both can be very arrogant and aggressive and can't resist trashing other medias in their favoritisms, especially being part of the Sonic fandom after all (though I can hardly talk). We're lucky it didn't get perfectly split down the middle with a 5.
