AAAAAAAAnd when you create your own stories, you know for sure that YOU will be satisfied with the plot!
Although, I think any story written should not just please the author, but other fans of the genre too.

So true, so true...

Sort of. I believe if you writing something it should please you, and if it doesn't there is no point doing it. However if you are sharing it you should consider fan's ideas and requests.

You could just go outside. Or... stop reading, and paying attention to it.
I'm sure alot will be doing the last two suggestions of yours.
I know I will.

I agree that when you write your own stories you should feel satisfied, I sure hope the few that read my stories are.
I only discovered the archie comic last year and (I usually keep out of the comic threads because they tend to escelate) I have to agree, the current story just does not interest me and I too just found something else to do...

Good point.
In fact, sometimes having fans share their ideas with you can be a big boost to what would make a story even more enjoyable to read.

Would that make Archie or any company brainless and a slave to the fans if gone too far. I know fan advice can be helpful and prevent bad things into their product, but sometimes they need to do their own thing. Yes, I'm aware that this would also go too far, like the X-men were originally called the Merry Mutants.Sort of. I never said they follow every idea the fans have in mind, but why not let them express what they think would make it better in their opinion?
Maybe even have a annual contest where fans submit stories, and the one that wins first place, Ian and Yardley make a comic issue out of it.
That would be a big boost for the fans, as well as maybe give Archie some ideas to tinker with.
Yes, I agree Archie has to do their own thing, but that doesn't mean they should ignore fan input entirely.
That would make them as bad as Sega then.

An annual contest where fans submit their stories and thew winner gets illistrated and tweaked by Ian Flynn and Tracy Yardely. Sounds like a great idea.(It's not sarcastic)Would that make Archie or any company brainless and a slave to the fans if gone too far. From some of the reviews of 230 that I read, it seems like he may have done that in the eyes of some fans.
What do you think?

It's impossible to fallow every fan idea, Sonic fandom is too diverse.
I agree on that.
Still, that doesn't mean they shouldn't at least hear the fans out.
After all, sometimes fans have some really good ideas.
I do wish Archie would listen to Sonic Sat a.m. fans, and Sonic and Sally fans more.
Again, I agree with this.
But with the majority of the fanbase now SegaSonic, that won't happen.
Sonic/Sally fans are put on the back burner because they are hugely outnumbered by those who like the modern version of Sonic, which I think is really flawed and poorly portrayed.
But that's just me.
