@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

Simple question really. Does anyone here keep up with current season Anime or is it just me? I know Penance does, he might not be on the forums much these days but he is in the chat daily. So I just figured if anyone else kept up with the currently running shows.

Like with most shows, I seem to have very little interest in the current airing animes....I like the older ones better.

I'm like the opposite there. I don't like most stuff older then 03 or there abouts. Some of the older shows are good but for the most part I shy away from anything older then 03

I don't watch much anime since alot of it is just way too gory and off the wall.

Although, a couple recent ones that no longer have any new episodes have intruiged me.

Trying to catch up on Naruto Shippuden. Though i like DBZ, i have also been watching FMA.
Some say that he knows 2 facts about ducks, and both of them are wrong. And that 61 years ago he accidentally introduced Her Majesty The Queen to a Greek racialist. All we know is, I'm going to the tower now to have my head cut off, and he is called The Stig.

Unfortunately I haven't been watching much anime recently. It has gotten too repetitive for me to watch. Here are some anime that I enjoy. Mushi-Shi (2005-2006), Shounen Onmyouji(2006-2007), Samurai X (Rurouni Kenshin) (2000), Last Exile (2003), Gungrave(2003-2004), FLCL , and Fullmetal Alchemist. Also, anything by Studio Ghibli is fun, but considered kiddie movies such as: Howl's Moving Castle or The Secret World of Arietty. Onmyouji had some great demon/monster designs in my opinion.

Elfen Lied is supposed to be good. I asked my friend, and she just told me about it.

I'm into DBZ and FMA (Brotherhood, of course).

I'm also watching Case Closed and Lupin III when I've got some free time. I'm a really classic guy in that sense.

I remember Case Closed, and Lupin. Is CC still on-going or is that just the manga?

.

Fun has a youtube channel if you're interested. They have sub and dubbed episodes there of certain shows. You might find Brotherhood, but probably not DBZ.

Also... Blood C looks interesting.

I'm not that into current anime, I find most of them uninteresting. They tend to be way too over-dramatic and serious most of the time, and they all look and feel the same. They're nicely drawn, but there's no way to tell them apart nowadays.

Personally, I more into the light-hearted, fantasy/adventure-type anime geared towards children and family audiences. I'm a big fan of Osamu Tezuka's work (Astroboy, Kimba, Black Jack, Metropolis, ect.), I enjoy "Speed Racer" and the original "Dragonball" series (DBZ was okay, but it was way too drawn out), and I love Studio Ghibli's films (Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, My Neighbor Totoro, Porco Rosso, ect.).

That's awesome. I am also a fan of Tezuka, and I am currently in the market for the Kimba boxset. I have yet to read Black Jack. Dragonball was also one of my favorite shows. :) Studio Ghibli has always made great films in my opinion, especially with the help of Joe Hisaishi. He makes lovely music, and it always calms me down--at least the gentler parts anyway. The Cat Returns is one of my favorite ones.

You have proved yourself worthy RedMenace.

Funny thing is, you can find barley anything on the show online! No episodes, no toys. Only a few Let's Plays of the Nintendo games, and none of the Japanese episodes. (The series had 7 more seasons in Japan.)
