Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

You're not a Brony until you go around singing "Winter Wrap Up" in public *gasp* Oh man. How do I know about that?

Yeah, it's amazing how someone who works in animation might know something about the cartoons that are playing on TV ^-^

Right. Because talking about furry Hedgehogs and Foxes and Dragons with pouches is manly, but talking ponies isn't ^-^ You guys are really funny.

Actually, isn't there a rather sizeable discussion about MLP going on in another thread? Or is this one of those "Well if it's popular, I'm going to hate it!" kind of things?

I never quite got that attitude. "Oh man. That guy I hate likes something I like! I'm gonna stop liking it..just cause..to spite him!" LOL. I like how bronies are making people uncomfortable. It's good to see established barriers and social norms redefined. The whole Brony phenomenon fascinates me.

Some bronies even make me uncomfortable, if you know what I mean. I'm a fan of the show, I watch it every saturday and discuss it around Youtube here and there, but some bronies...well, a LOT take it a bit too far. It is still a kids cartoon, yet somehow people can pervert it in more ways than I would have thought, lol.

The sad truth that people need to realise is that there never will be a Satam sequel or reboot

I dunno. The internet seems to love the new MY LITTLE PONY cartoon. If you ask me, THAT is how you reboot a franchise.

Yeah but Satam is a spinoff that was created when Sonic was new, and at the time the games had little to no story. Nowadays the Sonic game universe has more of a storyline to it.
My point is that Sega will not allow another Sonic cartoon to be created thats different from the games.

Maybe you're right. On the other hand, perhaps in time other studios/game companies will learn from Hasbro's example. Just this morning a fan character was given canon status ( by name and a voice ) Derpy :} And Adventure Time did an episode where the male character was a girl ( and from what I THINK I know about that show, it was a fan creation )

None whatsoever. As I said before, I was just working on a pitch. Had I carried those plans out I would have had my agent arrange to have DIC or Cookie Jar, or whoever currently owns Sonic's broadcast rights, to receive the material.

Ah, I see...

Thanks for clearing that part up.

I'd planned to continue from the end of season two, but expand the world. Sonic and the Knothole crew would have traveled all around Mobius gathering an enormous army of freedom fighters ( Which was supposed to lead to an inevetable final battle with Robotnik/Snively/Naugus ) We would have seen characters from the Sonic game universe, only "SATAM-ized" Meaning their characters and personalities would be altered to suit the "geurilla warfare" scenario that SATAM tried to portray.

Pretty simple stuff really. I didn't want to get into heavy magic or deus ex machina Plot McGuffin madness. Just a straight, hardcore war story that occasionaly threw in a mystical element or tw

Very interesting...

Sounds like it would have been a very cool Sonic cartoon had it gone through.

Too bad it didn't.

I would have liked to have seen what would have come from it in contrast to Archie Sonic.

You never know. Maybe in time I'll pick up where I left off. The only difference is I won't be showing it to anyone, it'll just be between me, my agent, and a studio ( IF I were to do it. My interest in it comes and goes )

Well to be honest, I never liked the show. I went through the gauntlet of watching the 1st two episodes of new MLP. Just to be fair and all. Honestly its nothing really special to me, flash animation meh, the typical -I start out as a antisocial person then within 2 episodes I become all outgoing- yey!

Then most fans of the show will talk about this -message- they keep talking about that makes this show -magical-. Well for whatever reason, i find the message pretty much the same impact as any -the more you know and thats half the battle- GI Joe message to be honest. In short it just doesn't do it for me.

I see.

Anyway, thanks for answering my questions.

Although, I do have one more if it's ok with you.

When you mentioned SegaSonic characters would be in the show, would popular characters originally from the Archie Sonic comic book be in the reboot too?

I hadn't read much of the comic. I thought they tried to make it a bit too "matrix-esque" Especially all those weird Echidna-like characters. But a few of them stood out to me, like the skunk ( I forgot his name, that kangaroo, a few others ) Honestly, I'd have to read the entire series before I could really answer that question.

Since we are all asking questions about this for the moment, I got a question Matt. Do you happen to have an agent that represents you for work that you may be interested in down the road?
