That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

So what is the deal with this anime!? It looks like it has a few of the girls, but it sure as heck does not look like a porn and seems to be a typical young girl orientated show with magical powers and stuff. This begs the question then, since the demographic is so different and clearly the purvey older men are not going to watch it, it having nothing to offer them, why even use the characters and the name, why not just make up something else altogether?

Well, I guess Japanese culture is not meant to be understood by us mere Western mortals.

I don't know where you got that from, but the original manga wasn't pornographic at all. It was just another one of those comics about schoolgirls doing wacky hi-jinks or something—although I do agree that like hell those girls are in high school and they're pretty much jailbait. And the opening theme is the most obnoxious song in all of creation, which immediately puts me off watching it. (Of course, I'm also pretty fond of the FFVI version of the opening, so I'll talk no further about that.)

Thanks for the clarfication. As should be quite obvious from my ignorance, I'm not really into anime, I mean there might be the odd one I happen to like, but in the main I stay clear from the genre.

As for where I got it from, well...hehe... I was just browsing the net for porn really and happened to come across this series of them, I wasn't looking for that stuff specificity. The thing was, there were simply so many of these comics, an ongoing series that clearly sold in the shops in Japan, that I assumed that was the original Lucky Star.

Looking at the main characters on that page though, it is strangely refreshing to see Miyuki drawn without breasts that are bigger than her head! While the others look prety much the same.
