Generations Ending

Sonic had just beat the Time Eater and both Eggmans with his classic counterpart. However Eggman had one last fail safe and activated it. Sonic and classic are saying their goodbyes and Modern left to his time. As he went through time to his correct period, something felt different in a way. He fell into what he thought was green hill zone, but there were huts and tress everywhere. Someone walked up to Sonic, but it wasnt Knuckles, Amy or Tails. It was Sally Acorn, and she reached out to him. "Are you alright?"
"who are you?" Sonic asked.
"My name is Sally Acorn,"
"Where am I, it seems so...familiar?"
"This is Knothole village, me and my freedom fighters are going to Robotropolis and attack one of Robotnik's factories." Sally said.
"sounds like fun. Mind if i join in," Sonic said. Sally helped Sonic up and took him to see the rest of the Freedom Fighters.
it would fade to black then it would say, To Be Continued in the Next Sonic Adventure

That would be such a beast ending!
Too bad Sega doesn't know how to make an ending like that...
I know.
All they care about is their own agenda.
It is any wonder Sega has been on a decline for the last 10 years?

If only Sega would actually listen to their fans, and realize SatAm was one of if not the most ideal form of Sonic and acknowledge how amazing it was. They should at least acknowledge the characters and some from the Archie comic
I know.
Sega could have overthrown Nintendo as the #1 Video Game Mascot had they learned to quit butting in and demanding their own way about everything.
You'd think after years of mediocrity, they'd finally get the hint.
Guess not.
That's a terrible ending. Oh man it's like a slap right in the face.
A slap in the face?
C'mon, man, show a little class when disagreeing with others' viewpoint.
If you don't like it, that's your choice, but don't be so cutthroat about this.
This is a FUS Sonic Satam forum after all.
What did you expect the OP to mention, an ending where Sonic and Amy kiss, or one where they end up in Central City in the SA universe?

Time Eater confirmed for frothing SataM fan apparently. This isn't exactly cutthroat, it's just the same amount of negative reaction towards that idea that there is for Sega in the rest of the thread. No more, no less.

I certainly didn't expect an ending where all of Classic Sonic (hell, all of Sonic in its entirety) is rewritten to be SataM. Destroying Green Hill Zone, even ? (No it is not remotely like Knothole.) Completely wiping out the Death Egg Saga, Knuckles and Amy, for that? And as the end to a game that just celebrated all of Sega's history with the franchise? That shouldn't even be considered acceptable, let alone lauded as the best ending Sonic Generations could have. It would be a slap in the face unless you absolutely hated everything Sega ever put out, in which case why bother with the games at all?
It's just wishful thinking on his part. Sheesh, don't take it so seriously.
The OP loves Sonic Satam, as most of us do. So again, what did you expect him to say? Of course he's going to wish Sonic and and the Satam universe were shown again, because he's a big fan of it.

It's more disappointment towards Sega than anything.
I really didn't see anyone write, "Down with Sega! or Sega should go out of business. They're an awful company!"
No, it was just fans very disappointed that Sega no longer cares about pleasing the fanbase, especially the older fanbase I might add.

Dude, really?
It was just wishful thinking. Just calm down.

........what everyone else said. If your opinion is going to be that harsh, it shouldn't be declared to everyone here. I was going to say that you were worse than pacmancdi's hacker, but that's overkill on you. But then again, that guy was an idiot, while you say things that could matter to some one. You know that saying, "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me" ? Well, it's a lie. If you say something, it will stick with people for a long time, possibly forever, and it will hurt them. It could bring their confidence down. That's how you truly destroy someone.
I thought the ending was creative and astounding. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, Noctisx.

As much of a Nintendo fan that I am, I would agree that Sega could have emerged as the #1 Video Game mascot if they had based their games off of SATAM's storyline. It just seems like it would work better than the stories they have come up with since SA2.

As solid of a game and storyline that SA2 was for the Sonic series, I still believe the Satam storyline was even better.
That universe had the most potential to really show the blue blur at his best.
To me, it's really ridiculous that Sega never got that hint.

Anyway, the words may be blunt, but the intent ain't anything worse than anything else said. Also, how would nothing be rewritten? Classic Sonic is Sonic in the past, not a new character. If you rewrite Classic Sonic's past and future into SataM, you do it by erasing all of SegaSonic. All of it. It's not very creative (I've seen the concept a million times,) it looks more like just trying to wipe away any of the nasty Sega that touched the pure Sonic. Oh well though. Seems more like not thinking things through than anything else, so no fault to the person who thought of it.

Probably because they never watched it, and SataM never seemed to like Sonic much anyway.
Any true fan of the show would not say that.
Satam and Sonic fit very well.
It brought out the best in the blue hedgehog. In fact, it took him to a new level.
Sega, on the other hand, was not able to duplicate that at all in their games, not even in SA1 and SA2.

It may seem like that, but I wouldn't suggest at all that SEGASONIC should be wiped out.
Instead, I would like to see it and Satam merge into one series.
They both have good things about them, so why not join forces to make one super Sonic series that most of the fans can love?

The 3 Genesis (I guess Spinball can too) games and SatAM fit wonderfully together, but the more recent games and SatAM don't fit so well together.Probably because they never watched it, and SataM never seemed to like Sonic much anyway.

Of course not, especially with Sega having Sonic playing copycat with Nintendo the last 5 years.
