I am a big Covenant supporter. I hate the UNSC, and for that matter, the Spartans. I got asked this by some tubby kid, and I said covenant. Id like to hear what you think.(zane, we all know you'll push the Reed Christ button.)

I'd have to go with the Cov. Reason is they are not just one race, but a whole group of races. Now a true battle would be the Covenant against the Protoss or the Flood against the Zurg

From what I gathered, The Covenant would be like a combination of Predators and Aliens, making them have an advantage over the Predators.
Of course I don't really play Halo and haven't watched any of the Predator movies

Here's my thing, Covenant is super religious. What they do they do for their religion. The Predators kill for the fun of killing. While the covenant has a bunch of rules and sacraments, the Predators are trained to hunt and kill as efficiently as possible.

Covvies are also a multiple groups and cultures and are a military force with highly advance weaponry. No offence but Hunter vs Military the military has advantage IF their technology is about equal. Also Covvies can just glass the planet.

Well, on paper that seems right, but don't forget about the american revolution. We were basically farmers who knew how to hunt, and we took down Britain. True, we were later shaped up into an army, but we started off as hunters.

Plus the British didn't take us seriously and we had French help. Most of the victories we had were because the British didn't fight gorilla warfare. Both the Covvies and Predators use stealth and gorilla tactics.

True, true. I still say that Predators would win, but I haven't really ever played Halo, except multiplayer. It's just that, from what I've gathered, the religious and legal hurdles of the Covenant would get in their way.

As far as the Predators are concerned, the Covenant would deem them Demons, and find every way to do. Away with them, going insofar as glassing the planet of origin. Hunters are also a factor,. Due to there being no CLEAR way to ultimately kill these Lekgolo colonies. Elites can play the Predator's games, if an elite simply uses his active camoflauge. If all else fails, an Arbiter would be deployed, leading a suicide force. If THAT fails, Hunter and Elite Kill Teams would be issued, and these predators would be hunted down.

Well, they're all dead anyway...I'd say Covenant too. The Sangheili alone could take down the Predators or Aliens imo.
