The 18+ Nudity Rule... I'm assuming it's referring to the "naughty bits"... well, any artwork of characters nekkid (Sonic or otherwise) that I draw would not have the "naughty bits"... it'd be no worse than Sally minus vest and boots. That's as far as I go with nudity.

Drawing the line with "furries" or caricatured animals is always tricky. Usually to depict "natural" animal characters without depicting anything "suspicious" means treating the fur or basic outline of the animal character as if it were the clothing. (Bugs Bunny takes the whole "fur as clothes" detail so far that, not only depicted as having no "naughty parts", he's also depicted as having pockets that he reaches into somewhere along his thighs where he seems to store carrots.)

I always thought Sally's vest was merely a fashion statement not provided by her "fur as clothing" (maybe even provides pockets for the character), and that her boots were just for protecting her feet as she goes on missions. Same thing with Sonic's shoes and Antoine's suit.

Is there an issue with things seeming to go too far on the FUS galleries?

As you said DBoy...so long as there are no "naughty bits" or adult situations you should be fine. As freaky said...often times the animals fur substitues for the clothing in these situations.
