NOTE! I have not added, rings or other power ups, and spikes don't react to Sonic yet
There is also multiple routes throughout the stage, you saw me try and take one, but failed. All different routes will converge before the goal at some point.
There won't be any enemies, as Robotnik doesn't know where Knothole is, so a stage right around Knothole shouldn't have SWATbots running around in them.
I had said I'd update this a few days ago, but I had some errors with it, that took a while to fix. (Sonic would go behind objects he should of been in front of, or the other way around.)
Now it's up!

It's been quite a while! Don't worry Progress is still happening!
This is Paul, a Game Exclusive Freedom Fighter, remember that he'll be somewhere in every stage. So Find him, he's definitely worth the time.

I feel the lack of updates and Paul not being a 'real' update, I'm going to try and get out a video.

Obviously you'll notice a log in screen at the start, this is not guaranteed to be in the game.
On the menu, you'll see a leaderboards, (that's why the Login's there) but you can play without signing up or loging in, leaderboards are also not guaranteed to be in the game.
Also the level design and graphics might change.
Maybe in a week or two I can release a physics demo so you guys can play around in. (I can't guarantee that though, I'm not the only one working on the project)

Here's a scene from Robotropolis Act 1, Obviously the stage isn't finished as there are no rings, or enemies. (And the stage is using beta tiles because we have yet to finish designing the tiles for Robotropolis) but I thought I'd update cuz I havent' in a while.

Just wanted to tell here: I am also programming a SatAM fan game. But a lot more Sonic-Epoch like (more RPG elements) and less "SEGA Sonic" like.
It will be based on my very own engine, so I will probably... talk about that game again in 1 more year if I am done with most programming and I can think about levels
So far main texture and objects management works as optimized as possible (should run fast on older machines too).
It uses OpenGL, based on SDL 2 and is programmed in Free Pascal (the same language GameMaker is written in). Should be platform independet later. Modability is planned (integrated level, object and character editor).

I know it's been an awfully long while, but our team has dwindled. (and I was preoccupied doing other stuff to get around to it... videogames... )
But I've created an update!
I know screenshots aren't exactly what you guys all want right now...

I should be able to get a video out just after I finish all the more finite details in the stage design (basically the stage is done, but only the parts you can interact with are decorated, I still need to fill in the gaps.)
After the video I'll slap in the rings and enemies, (I won't make a video on a stage full like that, so nobody knows an entire stage and everything about it early)
As I mentioned above the team has dwindled, Red and I haven't had contact to Bakuda or Saber since February, and Lito since August 2013. So as of right now, we're the only ones still working on it that we know of...

I think I'll just leave this here without any context, (well besides, I made it, and since it's on the Official Fan Game Thread, it has something to do with that.)
