@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

Well it's that time of year again. San Diego Comic Con came and went and hype for the next seasons of many favourite TV shows have picked up (for me, at least).

Zombies, duuuh. I have not had the pleasure of reading the comic series this is based on, however the first season kicked me fair and square in the balls of my interest. Not a perfect metaphor, I admit.

What can I say? It's Dexter. You either love it or you hate it.

**Forum is having a spaz attack when I post 'more media files than you are allowed to in a single post'. So I'm triple posting, baby! I'm an ADMIN and I can do what I want. I can even type this without pants on if I wanted to (and I am).**

I hate cops shows. Sorry, I hate PROCEDURAL cop shows (CSI, Law and Order and all those other boring series). Thankfully Castle is not one of them. Oh, and Nathan Fillion is in it (woooo!)

The show started with a 5 year plan. That plan was awesome and finished with a hell of a storytelling bang. Unfortunately too many people were watching this show so it was renewed for a sixth season, and now a seventh. Did I say unfortunately? What I meant to say was 'fuck yeah!'. There's not enough genre shows out there any more (that don't suck and or get cancelled), so it's great to see something like Supernatural gain the respect (and ratings) it deserves.

I know very little about this new series that starts next month (avoiding spoilers as much as I can), but c'mon! It's Sarah Michelle Gellar! It gives me great pleasure that she is returning to television after all these years from when Buffy ended.

Sadly, Stargate Universe won't be joining us this season. That show was bleeding with potential. Unfortunately it's overuse of character development and slow burning plot pace, and lake of action and explosions (like the previous Stargate series) was too much for mainstream audiences to latch onto. It's a sad, ugly fact that good storytelling is at the mercy of ratings. Oh, and the Sci-Fi channel are run by a bunch of fuckheads.

September - October cannot come soon enough. What are you guys looking forward to next season?

I was never able to get into Supernatural, but I'll take this opportunity to brag about how I was on a film shoot with Traci Dinwiddie recently and had to interview her for the Behind-the-Scenes extras.

I'm mainly looking forward to the new season of Fringe and Spartacus: Vengeance (HELL YES!).

There's a couple of new shows I might check out too, though I can't remember what they were at the moment..

This is the only show I'm eagerly anticipating:

...but mainly because I don't have cable.

Holy hell, I've never heard of that one, Freaky. Hopefully it is as every bit as character driven as it appears to be. :nods:

Really? I've been following its production since early last summer! But yeah, I can't wait! Spielberg is one of the show's executive producers, and Spielberg and dinosaurs updating on a weekly basis has been a dream of mine since seeing Jurassic Park as a child. :dancing:

Show premiers just 11 days after my birthday, September 26, Mondays on FOX.

A dinosaur tv series, a zombie tv series... I am in heaven.
