@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

To me, I don't mind seeing her a as a hero (Part of the Freedom Fighters). Because, I do have feelings for her. What about you guys?

I think she has dropped into a 3rd party kind of category, she is not really a bad guy, yet she isn't actually a good guy either. She has her own personal agenda and goals and will help those who are furthing them and fight those who are opposing them.

I agree with Red, the last time I checked she was hanging out with Scourge, who's a bit of a anti-villain himself.

Personally I find the character abit of a ruined potential. They kept her around making her sort of conflicted. Had alot of animosity and bitterness from a hard life. Could have done something with that ground work. The writers seemed to not know what to do with her and just wrote her as a cookie cut out bad girl.

I miss her zipper suit

Personally, I like the idea of Fiona as a neutral character, like Rouge and Shadow.

One who could be a heroine, or villainess when it suits her

Since there's a back story of her being abandoned, that goes well with her becoming bitter and wanting to become a villainess in order to get even with the FF's.

Fiona is my favorite Sonic character. I'm glad that Ian made her into a villain. She was really boring as a freedom fighter.
But as a villain she has alot more personality. I hope that she stays a villain for awhile. Later on I think that it would be better if she became more of a neutral character.

I think that it would be interesting if she tries to find out what happened to her parents after Robotnik destroyed her village.

Her backstory is sad. She was an innocent girl who has her whole like ruined by Robotnik, and spent her childhood in one of his prison camps.

Sonic, Tails, Sally, Bunnie, Rotor, and Antoine all had there lives ruined by Robotnik, yet they were able to cope with it and move on. Fiona on the other hand is not able to move on.

There's alot of story potential with this character.

I agree 100% with you on that last sentence.

The only thing I didn't like at all about her story is the fact they made it seem Fiona was ok working with the FF's inspite of the fact she was abandoned by them earlier.

You'd think she would hold some kind of resentment, even back then if she really was bitter about the fact they left her behind.

Fiona was only really resentful towards Sonic. I don't remember her being resentful towards any of the other freedom fighters.

I bet she hates Sally now

Fiona is probably my second favorite charecter and I think that she has probably the most potential out of all the charecters in the Archie cast right now. Sadly I don't think that Archie is doing much to exploit her potential. I haven't read any of the SU arc about her yet but if Ian really wants to make her an interesting charecter and develope her more he needs to include her more in the "main" comic not just SU.

Yea, that's true now that I think about it.

But still, if she had bitter resentment against Sonic, why did she take so long to tell him?

Plus, why even date him?

Man, Ken Penders really messed up when he had Sonic and her making out in 155.

What was he thinking?

She dated him to try and pretend she wasn't resentful, a half-hearted facade of maturity and forgiveness. Scourge just showed her how full of it that was.

Although, weirdly, Anti-Sonic and Fiona don't go out in 156 I think... it's referenced later that he dated ALL of them, but she really isn't in that issue.

Penders was trying to repair the Sonic and Sally relationship after Karl Boilers slap issue. Penders planned on having Sonic date a bunch of different girls. Eventually Sonic would realise that Sally was the right woman for him.

That really doesn't make much sense.

Unless she was planning to get his guard down so he could turn on him when he wasn't expecting it, this plan of hers doesn't compute at all.

I mean, if you hated someone, making out with them and being their bf/gf would be something a person wouldn't normally do.

I personally think Ian just wanted to spice up the comic when he had Fiona go bad.

Ok, I get the part about Sonic trying different girls, but Fiona? No.

I could see him flirting around with Mina, Bunnie, even Amy for that matter. But Fiona is one I just couldn't see.

I mean, even if Fiona didn't feel betrayed by him, why would Sonic make out with a girl he knew Tails was madly in love with?

That was so OOC for him.

Was Ken trying to make Sonic heartless or something?

I have no idea what Penders was thinking, but personally I'm glad that he's no longer working on the book. Say what you will about Ian's writing but at least he wasn't planning on making Sonic a man whore who dates different women and plays with people's feelings.

Isn't that what Sega's trying to do with their whole "Sonic is always going to be a bachelor"? I remember in Sonic Heroes when Sonic's team met Amy's team Knuckles said something like "Sonic are you playing with that girl's heart again?" That probably has nothing to do with this topic, but I thought it was kinda funny how coincidental it is.

Ok, good point.

Although, I really don't know what's worse. A writer making Sonic a player and cold hearted, or one who likes to play God with the fictional characters.

It is a little bit funny when I think about it.

But anyway, I don't see why Knuckles would think that when Sonic has never made any passes at Amy to begin with.

Actually, that wasn't Sonic. That was Soruge... or whatever his hame. The hedgehog whose become yellow? Man, Ken really did fool us all.

And, I switch my vote to "Neither". Instead. Because, I think most of you guys are right, she should stay like that forever. If I were a Sonic Archie Comic writer: I just have a thought that maybe Fiona should be on... community service? After she did all kind of crimes. And maybe she should work as a... nurse and also wear some kind of devicewire thing on her so she won't escape from Mobius or knothole until she's cruel of being good?... Maybe... not. Just Not! Just a hurmor.

I think you're mistaken this for 150. By 155, Sonic came back and gave Scourge, or evil Sonic at that time what for.

I've change my vote to neither... she may be a villain. But, she's more neutral... and I still think she's good inside.. but not now for her.

BTW, check out these stories made from a fan artists... he wrote 10 things of how Fiona Fox will become a good guy again?... Well, check them out and send me your reaction on this:

I just have a thought... of a idea. Depends on you members who still read the comics or not... Anyway, here is my story of how Fiona will might become good again.. here it goes:

What if Fiona Fox long lost Mother is still alive? Her Dad is still gone but her only Mother is still around and her Mother still misses her to hope one day that her daughter reunited... but she might be shocked that Fiona is part of the badnicks.

Tell me, will it be cool if Fiona reunited her Mother???
