@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

Just to give a heads up, but Shout Factory's rights to put out the DiC cartoons on DVD is expiring at the end of the year, meaning the SatAM boxset will be going out of print.

They're currently having a clearance sale on all of them, so if for whatever weird reason anyone actually doesn't have the SatAM set, now's the last chance to get it or any other of the DiC cartoons (Like Sonic Underground or the Mario shows):

I just ordered volume 2 and 3 for AoSTH. I've meaning to grab them for a while now but I just keep putting it off. $21 for two of them is quite the bargain!

Thanks for the heads up mate.

[EDIT] Okay never mind, they won't ship to Australia. Ebay it is then. No money for you, Shout!

Wow, that sucks; Shout! has been one of the best things to happen to a lot of these series, putting actual care into the boxsets they put out.

Granted, SatAM is the only one of those sets I own, but still, it's nice to know some of those other shows are being repped respectfully.

So does this mean it's gonna be worth money or something? I remember after the Megaman cartoon went out of print used copies were selling for $200 on amazon.

NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! :boobloodyhoo:

Actually, this is kinda sad. Didn't know the end was so near.

Well I don't think this will be the end of SatAM on DVD. I bet the NCircle single releases will still be available. However, the boxset is the better release, especially with it being on sale at $11.99. To get the entire series through the NCircle DVDs you'd have to pay twice as much, plus you don't get any of the bonus features that are on the boxset.

Either way the series will always be widely available online.

This is true...you've gotta love Amazon and Ebay. But still...there's just something nice about a brand new, never before owned item.

Hate to hear that, but my guess is that most of the people who want this would have bought it within a year of it's release. I also just ordered volumes 2 and 3 of AoSTH to complete my collection (SatAM, AoSTH, and Underground). If you were ever going to get the box sets, now is the time while they are on sale!

A quick heads up, Amazon.com now has the box set for 11.99 as well. Also free shipping if your order is more than $25... perfect time to pick up several copies for a gift, friend, or to save a new copy as a collectors item and hope it becomes worth hundreds like that Sonic X box set did, haha.

This is horrendous news, I've been going to get this since it's release (Haven't been able to round up the money too well and put it off for too long!) and I won't have any usable money 'til January, I'm really going to have to make it all or nothing next month I guess, no time left to lose! Time to juice and jam!

I'm fairly positive you'll still be able to find the box set on amazon for some time, and besides, I'm sure shout factory will still be working on selling their leftover stock. From my understanding (correct me if I'm wrong) their license to make the box set runs out this year, not to sell. They may even have another sell like they did earlier in the year to clear their stock out.

Here's me hoping Bakuda... I hadn't thought of it that way, thanks! :) I was actually planning on ordering from Amazon.ca as the shipping is astronomical from the Shout Factory site when your shipping to Canada... :D

Just ordered my DVD set today, a bit earlier than planned but seems mom decided to cut me a little slack money-wise, might not ship till march though because I ordered it next to a pre-ordered DBZ Kai set. At least the order is placed and Amazon.CA has put it aside for me. Man does that ever take a load off my mind. :)

Ohh noo, really?! It can't it was the best thing that happened to the whole series! It went to DVD in 2007 and I was really excited to own the series at my finger tips.Is it going out of print cause of netflix? DVD is much nicer.Maybe ShoutFactory is not making money anymore on cartoon DVD movies.

Netflicks kills a lot of TV show DVD boxsets. We watch the episodes online which is cheaper at the moment then DVDs. However in the long run it is cheaper to buy the DVD then rent it to watch it, or pay monthly fees.
