@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

Haha I thought similarly about that. xD

I'm also making faces at that really odd pose Sonic's in.

Aaand I get a no-prize for predicting the resolution to a not-cliffhanger xD

Can't say I'm too pleased with the Babylon Rogues being the focus of the next Sonic Universe arc, considering that I've been waiting for over a year for Mighty's subplot with his sister to get some attention, but oh well, I can roll with the punches.

Is it me, or does it look like Sally Merged with Nicole? I wouldn't put it pass Ian to do something like that.

I don't buy or read these any more but I can at the very least comment on the artwork. I'm really digging the cover art to #230; Sally's hands still freak me the fuck out though. Nice to see Tracey 'It's my favourite expression to draw and by god I'm going to stick to it!' Yardley's psychotic facial expressions are identical as always for #33 :Im-a-psychotic-bitch:

And... is that a Knukcles comic I see there? An archive collection? When did this happen?! Okay, I am so buying that. All my comics were lost in the flood and I would love to have all my Knuckles issues replaced.

Is there a lot of Lien-Da in the Knuckles comic? I mean, I know that's where she came from, but how much do you actually see of her?

Also, Sally merged with Nicole sounds like a rather good guess...

Lien-Da features most heavily in the Knuckles Storyline 'Election Night' (Issues 22-24), and after that appears more extensively in Knuckles stories that were secondary features in the main Sonic title, and after that features strongly in the 'Return to Angel Island' arc... so really, you're gonna have to be zig-zagging all over for her, really xD;

And I hope that isn't the case, Sally merging with Nicole. It would look like a cheap means of giving her a power boost, and quite frankly I'd rather not see such a thing happen either to her or Nicole.

Uh huh, why am I not surprised?

Ian sure likes to keep it nice and suspenseful, don't he?

Well, I'll wait until it comes out before judging it.

Although, I'll admit the cover doesn't look promising.

It's basically a 50/50 chance Sally is back or not. Pfft.

Just the way Ian likes to play his game. <_<

Someone seriously oughta do a pic of him in a white lab coat, laughing like a mad scientist with the comic on the table, adding his own "personal touch" to it.

Actually, this is what I'm interested in:

http://www.amazon.co...id=O6MJ3119GH4Y

It seems to be a giant combination of multiple volumes from the archive series. I looked for a some info, and according to http://archiesonic.w...c_Legacy_Series, it's all in black and white. For some reason, I'm a huge sucker for that kind of stuff. But what I'm really hoping for is that it'll be the size of the original issues and not cropped down like the Sonic Archives series.

Stop with the Sega Sonic in the universe issues Ian! nobody in the comic fan base wants the Sega Sonic characters to be tHe focus and the Sega sonic fans hate the comic anyway, and besides, they don't fit in well with the Satam/Archie astestic anyway!

The new issues next to the the Segatized knuckles tpb makes me long for the days when the comic was dark and proud of it.

Unfortunatly, henryiii, SegaSonic is here to stay in the comic I hate to say.

Sega doesn't want the Satam plotline, nor does Archie anymore.

How sad is that?

Sega, being extremely stubborn, rather keep their infeiror and silly game plots than one written with class and intriuge like Satam.

Tell me, Sega, do you enjoy watching Nintendo being king of the game mascots? Is it fun watching Mario as #1 instead of Sonic due to your pride and arrogance?

Why has nobody asked about Spaz' large dive in art he usually does. I mean, look at the comparisons between years here. Yeah his art is still nice and crisp, but it feels something is lost.

Actually, it's a combination of Spaz and Yardley.

Wow, who'd thunk, huh?

Interesting idea Archie had there. Both of these artists do bring something to the table. Why not combine their skills?

When did Yardley suddenly become better than Spaz that he has to dumb down his art to look more mainstream?

Shadow, that's clearly not Spaz up top. He didn't contribute a single page to 125, and it looks way more like Axer anyway.

SegaSonic got forced into Sonic the Hedgehog when Sonic the Hedgehog became the title character, and there actually are comic fans (oh, I'm sure they're not TRUE Scot--comic fans, but I digress) who want the SegaSonic characters. You can pretend they aren't there as long and hard as you want, but they won't stop existing. Then again, who am I to stop you from doing so?
