@  furrykef : (25 July 2015 - 03:35 AM)

When was that? Depending on when it was, it might have been a DNS issue. Those should be gone now.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

Actually Hugo Strange makes a better villian then a lot of you are giving credit for:

He's a mastermind character, one of the few who can literally match wits with Batman. He's also crafty, double dealing, and can really mess you up in the head.

That and he is not as well known as other villians which makes him more expendable.

If it is going to be Nolans final Batman film... We need a foe who will be a serious challenge. But with Bane confirmed, wouldnt Strange be redundant seeing as their goals are similar (To break Batman) although their methods are different?
If Strange is not used in the film however, At least we have him in Arkham City offtopic.gif

Bane=Muscle
Strange=Brains

There has usually been two villians in each one. Two-Face and Joker, Scarecrow and Qui-Gon Jinn...

Actually, Bane was pretty smart himself... in fact, just going by the Knightfall arc, he was as much of a genius as he was monstrous. I could see him and Strange putting their heads together and giving Batman just as much trouble as Joker did.

Robin Williams would be a brilliant choice to play a villain in Nolan's Batman universe. Nobody can play tragedy quite like he can.

It is possible that they may just mix Bane and Strange together, Like they did with Ducard and Ra's in Begins.

I don't think they would get two different well known actors to play the roles if they were merely going to do that. Remember, Ducard and Ra's were both played by Liam Neeson.

Ducard and Ra's turned out to be the same person in Begins, or more like Ducard was an alias. I meant that aspects of Strange could be intergrated into Bane if it turns out that Strange is not in Rises. The Robin Williams as Strange story is still just a rumor for now.

Hmmm.... you know, he might not have to put on the muscle. If Chris wants to keep the realism, he might justt have the character use the drugs that gives him that monster like strength, but without turning him into an inflatable masked man. At the most, I can see the venom causing vains to pop out all over his flesh, but that could be added post.

I abhor the thought of a Justice League movie. Keep Batman out of it or else it'll drag him down to being campy and stupid again.

Well, Nolan would be producing the Batman reboot, (not happening until after his movie, obviously), so it's not all lost (theoretically). I still see Justice as an answer to Avengers, and will be constantly distracted by that blatant competition.

Yeah, Nolan is producing a Superman reboot, tough I'm too lazy to dig up a link. He's said that it would be his first 3-D movie, though he's really not a fan of the gimmick anyway and won't shoot it with stereoscopic cameras, but rather add it in post, which, in my humble opinion, never looks as good as shooting 3-D stereoscopically. (Stereoscopic cameras have two lenses spaced as far away from each other as the human eye. This captures the images in two slightly different angles just as the human eye would in order to create the sense of depth. Post 3-D is just a normal camera shot with depth added to it in a computer.)

Also, that Wonder Woman suit had better be just the prototype to the updated one she should get 40 minutes into the movie, like how Bruce Wayne went from cat-burglar suit to friggin' Batman suit in Batman Begins. It just doesn't look like the classic Wonder Woman.
I believe in what I want to believe in, you believe in what you want to believe in, so when someone wants to believe in something, no one will know what to believe!
