Make Fus Better

I also have a unqiue VHS copy of the episode 'Super Sonic' which was sent to Sega of America (probably for approval) and while nothing really special, it does include a clean version of the end credits (as in no credits appear at all) and also has a commerical bumper which I've never seen anywhere else, which has an announcer say "Back at ya, with Sonic the Hedgehog!" I offered to send the tape to Brain Ward for the DVD set but he said it was of no interest. I have tried to rip the commercial bumper, but the problem is I need a VCR that is NTSC signal, my VCR is PAL and although it can play NTSC tapes, it converts the signal to something else and makes it impossible to rip it.
"The Devil Inside is the new scam from director William Something Something. The movie stars actors and was edited on a computer. Somewhere. This movie is the latest film in a series of very low budget films designed to look like real movies! And be released in theaters to make a quick buck via a horribly off kilter budget to profit ratio that the general public seem to be stupidly unaware of! These films use to be called 'direct to video' but now they are called 'first run features'. These films then vanish from the theaters, like a rapist leaving the scene of a crime." - Mike Stoklasa of RedLetterMedia

First, let me just say
Wow, this comic is really good quality. I was a huge fan of the show a long time ago, and I feel the story really pays perfect homage to the original plot, while taking it in necessary directions to keep it alive, while bringing in new interesting twists and characters key to the sonic base that had not existed while this show was being made. In short, this is a fanboy's dream, thank you guys. Having the guy pass away after a cliff hanger ending is horrible in more than one way (I'm diabetic, so I know of the diabetic coma all too well)
However, let me next say
The quantity/production speed is severely lacking. Don't get me wrong. I know this is just being done between a few people with I'm pretty sure no real budget, purely out of love for the series and stuff. But take a look at the archive. You've been going for just about two years now, and have hardly a few chapters to show for it. I think it would do wonders for the traffic if you were able to change he update schedule to incorporate more content. I won't pretend to know how much free time you guys have, or how long these take to make. I just feel like these are a big deal and maybe with some more support maybe more than a page a week could be produced. But there has to be ways you can ask the community to support this more. Maybe add a donate button somewhere, or try to get more advertising up.
Sorry if I sound out of my place, I just really like this project and would like to see it accelerated if possible. This is really the only Sonic universe that legitimately captures any sort of personality with the characters, and doesn't call Robtnik 'eggman' >.> It's Sonic before the Sonic cycle, pure magic.
Do you have any plans to expand this project? Maybe you could branch out more, I notice the facebook page has less than 100 likes. Anyways, please consider this. It's hard to keep a running interest when there's so little story updated at a time. I personally wouldn't mind a downgrade in the art for a speedier update sequence. Mangas that update once a month are easier to follow than this...
Well, if nothing else, thanks for reading my suggestions, and if there's any way I could help the site, feel free to contact me. (I can't draw or translate to french)

While I will agree that one page a week IS a very slow process, especially while trying to tell such an awesome story that is Season 3 of SatAM, however, the decision was made to keep it at that pace for a couple of very good reasons: firstly, we have a very small staff (two people) and the last thing we wanted to do was burn them out working under crazy update schedules. Secondly, we are in this for the long haul and want to take our time exploring this continuation.
Now I would love to expand Sea3on more than what it is now. I have a few ideas for mini series and specials that could release parallel to our main arc, but I am limited by the staff we have. In a perfect world? I would have 4-5 updates a fortnight from the various different arcs that would all build upon be canon to Sea3on. I need man power, unfortunately.
We will never ask for donations. It's not something I am comfortable with and I sure do not like the idea of asking for money to build something I have a lot of love for. I am all for staff support though!
Thanks for your thoughts mate, I hope you continue to enjoy our series.

I am hoping once the upgraded site launches we will get some more going on. But again staffing is a HUGE issue. Hell it took me long enough just to track down some staff for a few new sections we are putting in. Let alone trying to find more artists and writers. In a ideal world we could pay everyone career wages and they would only work on this website. Sadly we aren't in that.
As for advertising I was doing that for a bit. Got quite a few new members, tons of traffic but I stopped. Mostly because we started planning a complete overhaul on the site and I figured I would hold off on advertising in till its done with.
Donations..Yeah that's something myself and John disagree on but we are going with the no donation thing. Personally I would go for it as I think we could use the extra cash flow to pay for things and get us ahead if at all possible. However John pays basically fully for the site as it is and he has no interest in a donation box. So we are sticking with no donations. Perhaps in the future after a fight to the death between us you may see different.
Anyways main thing is the staffing. Id love to do WAY more with this site but I have no interest in killing myself to get it all done with the small staff we have. If more people pick up on things we will do more. Just need that to happen.

Looking forward to the site update as well. Once you guys get that ready and want to start branching out again I'd be glad to do what I can. It may not be much, but every little bit helps, right?

Yeah I was number 99
@ John & chief
Thanks for the responses. I guess lack of manpower is your biggest problem, then. It wouldn't make sense to start a lot of advertising if you plan to overhaul the site, either. Well, thank you for what you have going so far, anyways.
I would make an argument for a donation button, but if you feel uncomfortable I won't push it. Guess I'll just have to wait for the site update.
If there's anyway a talentless guy like me could help around the site, let me know, though. I don't have too much time, and a donation button would be easier
It's just a great project and because of that I'm impatient for updates
