When was that? Depending on when it was, it might have been a DNS issue. Those should be gone now.

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

Not sure how this hasn't been mentioned yet... There's a new Voltron show, airing on NickToons, called "Voltron Force". It kicked off last night and will be airing regular episodes on thursday nights. It's not a reboot or remake of the old one we all know. It's a continuation of the old series, somewhat like what they did with the Knight Rider series. All of the old heroes are there, with some new recruits added into the mix. The tech has also been updated, and there are some overall improvements made, and some minor changes. They even went so far as to lampshade the fact that the old style of robeasts are an obsolete idea. I do miss having Peter Cullen as the narrator, but he's busy being Optimus Prime in Transformers Prime, on a rival network.

I'll have to check it out. I was a big Voltron Fan when I was little.

All that talk of a movie and they've finally settled for a delayed TV series. Let's see how this plays out. It's probably being used by investors and producers to "test" this revival of a series for kids to see if there would be a market for it in film.

I'm just speculating, mind you.

I'll have to see how well this series develops, I've seen most of the pilot on my DVR but the one thing they need to do is lose the theme song, NOW! It's nice they have hints of the original song in the show but come on.

In the end though I hope this doesn't become another "turd" dimension.(Stealth Voltron seriously?!?!)

I should also point out that wep has the english subs of the original Go-lion up on youtube

It's really like watching a completely different show.

I think it's turning out rather well. It is kinda cool that they've got a means of mixing up the old formula, and have recently found a means of bypassing the goofy formation sequence. Also, they did at least one episode so far where the green lion gets the sword. Didn't that only happen once in the old version, or something? Or did I just happen to miss however many other times it happened when it was playing on Cartoon Network? The show's theme definitely needs to be replaced, though... But a lot of good shows have theme songs that are best to just hit the mute button on (or skip on DVD). And so far, they seem to be trying to work in more logic and mechanics for the new additions. It doesn't seem like we'll be seeing some of the weirder stuff from the origional, like the attack that fires the lions' heads at the enemy... But we've got some more credible stuff, like giant pistols and a mace. And they've established that the newer transformations drain energy, so they can't be thrown around all willy-nilly... No Gunslinger Voltron running around like Ash Williams, with infinite shots.
