This has been bugging me for a while, and after doing a search I couldn't find one already on the forum. Personally I never liked the mohawk, mostly cause I have never liked mohawks on anyone let alone Sonic. I think his Long Spines look looks the best, what do the rest of you think?

Hmm....I never really thought of SatAM Sonic as having a mohawk. But I've always liked the classic game design.

I grew up with Sonic having the short quills, so him having those long ones like in SA1 and onward was really weird to me at first.

Oops! Forgot to vote earlier. I'd always thought the look of his quills in the earlier games was pretty much the same as in SatAM. 
Being as SatAM is really what pulled me more into liking Sonic than the games did, I vote for the mohawk.

Mohawk/short spikes. I think the long spikes look kind of funky, and they don't seem as aerodynamic either.

The mohawk is so bad. Short quills or long quills both look fine, depending on which model you use.

I personally like his current look. His older design is cute, but the newer design looks faster and more opposing towards Robotnik/Eggman.
Since his older design looked younger, I always thought that Sonic grew older whenever a new game was released. That was my excuse to why Sonic's appearance and voice kept on changing.

Short quills or mohawk. I hate the long spines. They look like tentacles to me, and they just don't seem very practical. I dunno, they just seem like they'd weigh him down and be harder to slice things with because they curl backwards and down. The short quills are still sharp, but they're more like daggers, ready to bust through bots.
It's funny because the quills and brow are my only real beefs with modern Sonic.

I agree with RedAuthar.
I like the longer spikes the best.
Then again I thought Sonic was just a fun game to pass the time until the Modern Sonics (Sonic Adventure 2 Battle) did I really start liking the series and characters. So the long spikes were with him when the Sonic stuff became interesting. Although I like the Comics/SatAM/Older Games.
