We are getting quite a few new members here, including a lot of younger members so I figure it is a good time to bring this back up. A long time back FUS had a RPG section and it was fairly popular and busy. However the RPG topics and posts came to a halt and thus the section was moved into exile among the other forums put into the land of no return section of my server.

My question here is would you use a RPG forum? If FUS put the RPG forum back into operation would it stay fairly active? So Id like to see a show of hands on those people who would be interested in this.

As one of those who was active in the RPG section, It'd be nice to be able to do that again. Last time, the people running the RPs stopped showing up. I have a few ideas, myself, and generally don't tend to say gone longer than a few days... So, I could at least eliminate that particular problem once or twice. But, I don't exactly have the ability to make other people show up. So, it's up to those who actually want to RP and won't just drop off the face of the internet.

I miss my old RPG group. We rocked it over the span of three different message boards over the course of several years: Old (old) FUS, and two ToC forums. I loved it. If I had the time for it I would totally rock it again (if I could get the old gang back together that is).

I would love to see an rpg setion again, last time I tried to put something together but tis hard to get folks together. That and telling folks they cant have a dbz chracter heh.

I still have my idea i wrote down a long time ago, so I would love to see an rpg section.

Well, I was kinda retarded with RPGing back in the day but I remember how fun it was back when people were actively RPGing. I think it'd be a fun thing to see again, and maybe someday I might have participated in it again.

Yea would be interesting to see your old gang in action. Even if it was a few of them would be nice.

I know Silicate and I were going to do the evil aspect of the side of the role play, she might still be interested. I am willing to offer my services again if some folks are interested, this time Ill work with a few folsk to get somethign started and as we go along we can add folks.

You know, as an avid sonic rpg member to 3 other rpgs, I hope u guys do have a satam rpg again. I've never done a satam rpg before....I'm sure the esteemed dr. Ivo robotnik would like the great machinist reed amadeus prower as an assistant next to that butler-ish snively...Muahahahahaheh!

I might use an RPG forum if there were standard rules that kept it from being too n00bish, if you know what I mean. Otherwise, its no fun if you can't conceptualize your characters as part of the actual story and tone for SatAM, thus sort of defeating the purpose. I guess I could play if I wanted to -- maybe as Sonic, Sally or Bunnie OCs aside, but it all depends on how the story gets played out.

I agree with Maren, it won't be much fun if someone dictates how it all pans out, but from what I've seen I won't be for the RPG thing...doesn't seem like something I would personally enjoy.
