Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

So I'm wondering what game(s) are hot sellers for PS3, 360, and Wii right now. And I'm thinking there's probably a lot of gamers here. ;) Any ideas?

Haha okay thanks. xD Well I was originally going to just ask about PS3 but I've broadened it up to the 360 and Wii as well. Just dealing with console games at this time and primarily PS3 for now.

Dead Space 2, Dragon Age 2 are selling well I bet... I don't know whats big on the Wii at the mo though. I hear Hard Corps Rising on Live Arcade is a top download.
(Edit)
I'm on 360 and devote most of my spare time on gaming, though via emulators, a NES and a Megadrive(Genesis) Im more of a retro gamer tbh.

Halo Reach is a good seller, if you have a 360

It is, though I'm one of the few xbox owners who (Dare I say it) does not like the Halo games lol. Marvel V Capcom 3 and Fallout New Vegas for the PS3/360 and of course Black Ops. The PS3 release of Mass Effect 2 got some love. With its Platinum release a while back, you would think Arkham Asylum would get some attention seeing as City is out soon.

This is all very helpful! Thanks guys. :) I do own a Wii, 360, and PS3. Though the PS3 is the one I use the most. 360 and Wii are nearly tied since I just about never use either of them. I originally did ask about PS3 but I wanted to know hot sellers for the other systems too. :)

I'll reveal why in due time, but not right now.

Hot games eh? Well I've got some info for you ^_^

As much as I hate to admit it, Black Ops (Review) is currently the best-seller, Ever. Within 24 hours of going on sale the game racked in more than 7 million copies sold, and currently has sold more than $1 billion copies worldwide. No surprise though that your typical modern shooter takes the cake, but oh well. I've played it before, and its addicting, no doubt, but the story is kinda shallow. Multiplayer will definitely keep you hooked though, so if you're looking for a decent FPS, Black Ops would be a good choice, I only recommend its predecessor, Modern Warfare 2 slightly more. Another hot FPS is Bulletstorm (Review), developed by Epic Games and People can fly, utilizing the latest version of the award winning Unreal Engine 3.5, boasting probably the prettiest visuals you'll find anywhere. Of course, visuals aren't everything, but that isn't a problem. Bulletstorm features fast paced FPS action that allows your character to kick enemies and send them flying, or use your leash to yank them towards you for a better shot, or blast them into the air for some absurd kills. The game encourages you to kill your enemies as grotesquely as possible, and gives you points for being creative, like shooting enemies in their junk, kicking them off a cliff, or steering your sniper bullet right into their temple. Its lengthy too, giving you a 10+ hour campaign and multiplayer to back up. One more thing: This game is vulgar. You'll hear probably the most silliest and sick dialogue you'll ever hear in a game, but if that doesn't bother you, pick this one up. Hot platformers on the market would be Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Review) for the Wii, improving on everything the original did. More levels, more abilities, YOSHI, more galaxies, bigger boss battles, YOSHI....yeah, pretty much everything a Mario fan could want, and more. No surprise at the perfect scores it got. Another best-seller is the sequel the one of the most original titles on the PS3, LittleBigPlanet 2 (Review). I guess I can't refer to it as a platform game because Media Molecule, the developers, refer to it as 'A platform for games', as the level editor allows you to make all kinds of stuff. Hovercrafts, go karts, cake shooters, Anything. Toss that in with a 7+ hour campaign and more than 2 million stages and creations to download online give you the biggest community based game Ever. You simply won't be disappointed with your purchase. Action/Adventure titles hot on the PS3 is definitely Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (Review) and Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time (Review). Both games are very similar and different in their own ways, as Uncharted is a more cinematic and action/shooter approach, featuring a modern setting with well-developed and fleshed out characters, intense set pieces, and top-notch Third-person shooter gameplay, along with some Tomb Raider style platforming and puzzles. Ratchet and Clank on the other hand is still a Third-person shooter/platformer but with a more humorous tone, having a cartoony design and featuring lots of space travel, venturing to new worlds and planets to discover. With lovable and hilarious characters, epic landscapes and battles, and a lenghty campaign, the game has a lot of originality and is a very charming title. Toss that in with tried and true shooter elements and classic platforming with the game's own twist, you're got yourself one of the best Action/Adventure games on the PS3, better yet, of all time. It really never gets old, and Insomniac Games went above and beyond on what you'd expect in a Third-person shooter/platformer game. Hot racing games on the market is definitely Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit (Review), highly praised for its sense of speed and addicting Cops vs Street racer modes. Racing sims out is also the PS3 exclusive Gran Turismo 5 (Review), X360 exclusive Forza Motorsport 3 (Review), and Need for Speed's very own Shift (Review), spread across all modern platforms. It also has a sequel coming up, Shift 2: Unleashed coming out the 29th this month and is said to be 'The most realistic racer ever'. No complaints here, but if it includes boosters like its predecessor did, that's kinda arcade-ish, no? I guess I don't need to tell you what's hot in the survival-horror genre, considering you already bought Dead Space 2. xD But if you're looking for pure scares and horror, check out the lesser known PC exclusive, Amnesia: The Dark Descent. No weapons, no sidekicks, just you, and lamplight, and a deep, dark, castle underground. Oh, and horribly grotesque and mutilated bodies scattered across. Some of them chase you too. ^_^ Turn-based and Real-time strategy games hot right now is Supreme Commander 2 (Review). Cheesy dialogue, but intense gameplay and pretty visuals and landscapes. Its vastly surpassed by the newly released Total War: Shotgun 2 (Review), developed by the Creative Assembly, the mother of all turn-based strategy games. Its PC only though, and you'll need one helluva rig to run it without stuttering and lag. You'll be treated to some advanced tech though, showcasing intense war scenes, like fire arrows raining down on enemy grounds and having your army storm the front of enemy castle grounds. Every second is increasingly intense. The top Non-scary Third-person shooter out right now is, well, unsurprisingly, Mass Effect 2 (Review). There's no denying it, you got a 20+ hour campaign, tons of side-missions, amazingly well developed and complex characters, perfected gameplay, deep story, advanced moral system, and a final mission that's so :o you'll want to play through the entire game just to see it again. And with hundreds and hundreds of story-altering choices, you're bound to play it again at LEAST 5 times, and you'd have probably missed tons of other outcomes. Definitely GOTY '10, and another reason why Mass Effect 3, coming out this November is becoming the most-anticipated game of 2011. That's mostly everything hot in gaming, if there's another genre I missed, just let me know. :)

I also updated my previous post with more PS3 exclusives, namely Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and LittleBigPlanet 2. All fantastic games, and with lots of replay value. ^_^
