When was that? Depending on when it was, it might have been a DNS issue. Those should be gone now.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

on*

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

Haven't seen any mention of this clip, so... here it is.

Anybody know some more about this?

Yes, it is. (Both a clip from Kuta's cartoon, and dead.)

Yeah, he published that a few days ago. To show what "$300" got him. Although donations for it are up around 500 so who knows what happened to all the money.

That cost 300 dollars? I'm already asking where the money really went.

Oh, I believe it. The studio did its best with what it had to work with, I'm sure. It's just that what they had to work with was crap.

This is fan poster this guy did for Kuta's flick. I feel sorry that he did it for a dirtbag but I really like his work.

I wouldn't worry about feeling sorry for "EpicKnightOfJustice". He truly believes in what Kuta is fighting for. Truly.

In all honestly, $300 realistically doesn't get you 30 seconds of anything from any self respecting animation studio. What the Argentinian studio had to go through for that $300... they're really kind.

*Looks at fan posters*

I guess Rotor and Antoine aren't freedom fighters anymore. tongue.gif Well, either that or they weren't planned to be in the movie. (noticing they weren't in the minute long preview of the film either)
Personally though, this fanfilm would be a lot less expensive if they just animated it with computer software, like Adobe Flash or a program of the sort. I've noticed a hand-drawn fan film has been Kuta's #1 goal of the film, I'm sure other ways would work better. The hand drawn aspect also looks a little odd imo, not only making the scenes drag on but also not very entertaining. I don't entirely favor flash animations, but it does get the job done, and if they're gonna do it hand drawn they gotta do better. Frankly, I think I've seen animations at newgrounds look better then that 1:00 long scene. (namely Sonic: Nazo Unleashed and many shorts of the Sonic Shorts Volumes)

As far as the clip and project goes...there's been enough said about it without me saying anything.

However, I must say I do really like the artwork in the posters...especially the first one.

Make of this what you will:

For those keeping up on the project on Retro, we are starting completely from scratch on the script. My storyboards may be useless to us by that info, but we can make a better product with the rewrite and take all considerations from the critiques we are getting on the script.

By this info, you may also lock ThatOneArtistOnTV's account since I Greg "the Cat" Longcrier am Rodrick Powell.

Here is the beginning of my rewrite on the film that I started this morning. The meeting is admittedly the exact same as the original but leads into a better development of the story.

I was about to say, that wasn't over-spending. Both within terms of the amount of work and talent that went into the trailer and the frictions with the people involved. I've fought for months to get $300 for live-action trailers I've edited, not even stuff I photographed myself or animated, and felt very under paid afterward.
I believe in what I want to believe in, you believe in what you want to believe in, so when someone wants to believe in something, no one will know what to believe!
Believe it or not...

Jesus that's some bad voice acting. Not to mention cheap looking flash. I doubt the money was actually used for animation. Can anyone actually confirm that studio exists? I've seen a little of the penguin movie they did and it looks nothing like this.
