That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

I was severely bored to say the least. This is my first fake screenshot attempt and the first time I drew SatAM styled chars since uh... 1996? Anyway I was also tired of seeing Sonic X screenshots. Have we forgotten the existence of other Sonic cartoons?

Or maybe it doesn't make any sense to add English subtitles on an American cartoon.

I wasn't too sure on what to do for the background, and I'm not entirely sure if I can claim Fair Use for using an actual SatAM background. But the whole art in essence, is a parody. But I will change the background if you feel that I shouldn't use an actual SatAM background... xD.png;;;;;

I appreciate all comments, critiques, criticisms, etc. I may do more of these if I have enough motivation hahah.... I'm known for being extremely lazy and not getting anything done.

I would say getting a sketch down there took 10-15 minutes, linearting the sketch took maybe 30-45 minutes, getting the base colors took around 15 minutes, and overall shading and nonsensical highlights took 15-20 minutes.

Gathering all the references process took the longest though, maybe about 1-2 hours? So overall, it took maybe 4 hours from start to finish and minus all the distractions from the FUS chatroom.

Should definitely make some more up. These could be a lot of fun to explore some 'what-ifs'.

Hmm, now I think it'd be a fun idea to do an actual animation of how Season 3 could have turned out, just seeing this. smile.gif (And if someone were to do such, I'd be game voicing as Sally, since I'm voicing Sally for F3). awesome.png [/shameless plug]

Have always myself been curious. I had the idea to make a game based off of Season 3 but I never got around to it.

Woah...that is awesome! I don't know if I've ever seen fan art come this close to the real deal...right down to looking somewhat like the classic cell-animated screenshots. Great work...can't wait to see more!

Ah, I see. smile.gif I..don't think I ever read #134. I don't think I even had #134. O_o Ah... I might have when I backordered the comics from Archie. I think it's one of the ones I never got a chance to open before selling my collection off though.

Just a small update. The Mysterious Traveller of SMS wanted something with Tails. Since I also wanted to do something Tails related, I decided to use this scene from the episode "Droodhedge" as inspiration. Since it was left on the cutting room floor so it never made it to the final cut of the episode, I decided to recreate a snapshot of the scene. So much for some awesome Sonic and Tails development =( I may or may not end up commissioning someone to do the background though.

This is the scene I used:


And this is the WIP, since I decided to take a 6 hour nap today LOL.


(Yes, I sorta kinda traced the background for the sketch outline. Sonic and Tails are in no way traced however).
