I was referring to 134, yes. Endgame wasn't so bad, though I think it had more problems than just that. (Like Sonic using dirt from his shoe to form a bridge in midair, and the many artists on Sonic #50 resulting in an issue that doesn't have a consistent look.)

It was more than just disappointing, it was despicable IMO.

One of the most poorly written and disgusting issues of the Sonic comic ever made.

From the crappy art to Sally's unreasonable demands of making Sonic choose was just ridiculous.

I almost wonder if Sega forced Archie comics to make that issue. No, wait, who am I kidding? Of course they did!

I... kinda doubt Sega is really that invested in much of this comic save that Sonic fit the image they lay down for him (whatever that might be). I doubt that they're all that interested in him having a girlfriend or how he might cease to have a girlfriend. Everything about that issue was horrendous, but I truly doubt that Sega came down from on high and said "Yo, Ken, derail this character and have her break up with our cash cow in the worst way possible, bye bye."

As for everything else regarding this issue... I'm gonna wait and see how much of this is actually a teaser about Sonic and Sal, and how much of it actually has to do with the fallout from the last Issue. And given how much drama tends to follow Sonic and relationships, I'm looking more forward to the latter.
