I found an article written by the same man who produced 'Dress.mov',

I have a friend who despised [My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic] and the entire fandom. I jokingly told her “Be nice to Bronies, because one day, you’re going to be one”, making light of the show’s infamous ability to suck people in. She swore to me she would never, EVER in a million years like it, and that she hated everything about it and the people who partake in it. Sure enough, now she watches and enjoys it just as much as I do. She has an OC named Cookie Crumbs.
This doesn’t really have anything to do with why people like MLP:FIM, I just think it’s funny.
The only conclusion that can be reached is that what attracts these men to this series can not be described, because it is, in essence, an indescribable factor. You’d have as much luck explaining to a blind man the difference between red and blue.

Well...light and dark are a matter of perspective. Sure people aligned with dark can be considered -evil-, and what i'm doing is wrong. Then again...when you oppose the pony people it feels so right. Now join me in my evil quest.

I'm not bonkers about the show either. I never say the actual title of the show in public because it sounds so embarrassing, (I just shorten it to MLP) and the theme song is pretty annoying too, I just skip it most of the time or turn to another channel. But the show really is entertaining, and if you give it another try, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Honestly, I don't get it. I sat through an episode after getting a college worthy lecture about the series at 12:30 in the morning.
Besides, I can barely keep track of the shows I've been introduced to previously.
Apparently, my subconscious is saying I can be a crazed fan of so many things (I'm holding off on calling myself a fangirl. Ugh, I dread the term like reading my homework).

I am locked within the confines of my sanctum. The doors have been sealed off, and the leaders of these "ponies" have shared a brohoof to commemorate their victory in pushing us this far back. Only two others are here. With me...Acstrife and redmenace. We are holding out with everything we have, and shooting at the slightest offering of cider or friendship...after my close encounter with the rainbow one, I've been paranoid, deranged, clawing at the ground. I suspect my allies to be turning into more of those...bronies....I've been hallucinating, seeing them as ponies...we're going to die! Hahaha! Die!
(Ahem) sorry. Things have still worse. We have run out of manly magazines and red bull to supply us, and now we sit, slowly succumbing to the madness....but I will DIE before this madness takes me! I will not become a hooved monster! But....wait...they are breaking. In...all is. Lost.... I must rush to the last sanctuary...the game room.
