@  furrykef : (25 July 2015 - 03:35 AM)

When was that? Depending on when it was, it might have been a DNS issue. Those should be gone now.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

on*

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

Also, beware of some uploaders that love to edit their awesome usernames into the videos. I downloaded once movie torrent and every few minutes this jerk's name would flash up telling me exactly who encoded it. Idiots.

[EDIT] I know this should go without saying but just humour me here: Discussion of torrents and such are okay, just no linking to anything ('tis why I edited your post, Inhibitor).

and make sure the torrents are verified, you do NOT want a virus from one of those.

MPEG/AVI/WMV files can't contain viruses.

(Well, apparently some WMVs have been infected by an exploit before, but I doubt any such exploits remain. Or at least any that are currently known.)

When I said viruses I meant torrents in general, one time I downloaded a casual game for me and my sister to play, but the installer had probably the most deadly trojan you can find anywhere. It spread porn all over the comp, completely trashed the hard drive and it had to be formatted. Now, I'm on the constant lookout for a green check next to torrents so I'm sure they're verified. I sure don't want another mess like that one.

CURSE YOU for introducing me to this show! I'm completely addicted! Joined your forum, btw.

((weeps)) I cannot believe a like a show called My Little Pony, much less subtitled Friendship Is Magic. Noooooooooo...

And is it really bad that the episode "Sonic Rainboom" almost made me cry?

ok, so in light of what you guys have said, I reluctantly decided to check this out. Of course, I agreed with Chief. How could a girly show about Ponies possibly interest me? Then I remembered the rabbits, and pressed on.

Interestingly enough, I was in the music school student lounge at my university when one of my male buddies started talking about it, raving on about how good it is. Of course, we sniggered and threw our nabs at him, but he stood his gound about it.

so, I checked out the episode where AJ was collecting apples, working herself too hard to the point of exhaustion without asking for help. In short, I don't understand why this show has such a following amongst college age males to the point where there's a term for it (bronies?). I can understand if people like the "mature moral themes" behind the show, considering I still need to learn the lesson from that episode. I got 20 minutes in and couldn't finish watching. The writing and style just didn't draw me in (is everypony ok? etc).

I hate to let too much prejudice slip in, but I'm just not the target audience for this. Sure, I love xenofiction, but this was just too cutsie pie. Perhaps someone could explain to me why twenty/thirtysomething males are into it. Would be interested to know.

oh, I did like you pic Gojira

Ok, I also decided to check it out and was shocked that I was both entertained and intrigued by it. I won't say that it's the greatest show ever or that I'm now a "Brony" but its an entertaining show that is surprisingly mature for the target audience. You may want to check out the first episode and give it a try.

Meh. I personally think that it's kind of goofy that teenagers and men above the age of twenty are into this show.

Its probably just cause I'm a guy but I couldn't last 2 minutes of the old show, which in return is why I didn't expect anything from this new show.

Ok, whether or not you like My Little Pony, I'm sure you'd all love this little gem!

Also, watch all of Sonic F if you haven't already, it's quite funny.
