@  furrykef : (25 July 2015 - 03:35 AM)

When was that? Depending on when it was, it might have been a DNS issue. Those should be gone now.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

on*

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

You did do a good job on Sea3on. However we just don't think that we would be able to work together over a long period of time without some serious conflict coming up. Id rather keep this discussion out of the application thread however due to this being strictly matters between us three.

But onto the subject of this topic, we will soon have a small one paged script for people to draw out. From that we will end up making our main choice.

*sigh* Don't bother, I'm ending it here. Even though I wanted to put it behind me, I can see now that this incident is going to affect us in the long run. If you and John are going to hold a grudge against me forever, then I don't see how I can continue to attend here without facing some sort of discrimination, intentional or otherwise. If I can't expect fair treatment on the site, then it's probably best if I stop coming here. You're right, we don't get along well together and I'm sure others share your opinion of me, so I think it's in everyone's best interest if I just leave. I know when I'm not wanted.

I'm sorry this didn't work out. I really wanted to make further contributions to Sea3on, but I don't really see any kind of future for me here because of bad blood. So this is my last post. I just wanted to say that I enjoyed my time here and there are many of you whom I respect, even if the feeling is not returned. I wish you the best of luck with Sea3on and I hope you find a worthy artist to succeed Salamander.

I would like you to stick around in all honesty. Just because we don't work well together doesn't mean I don't want you around or that I don't want to see your work. As I also mentioned in another post I would like to see something you write and draw yourself.

But if you feel that that is it I'll respect that. Sorry that we have trouble seeing eye to eye on everything, and I do wish you luck in your artistic field and hope you get a job worthy of your talent. Good luck Glitcher.

guiltysmiley.gif You know this really makes me wish I woulda stayed a lurker and never made that thread, I thought people would enjoy it and it turned into this mess. I guess I just cause trouble wherever I go it seems. Makes me sorry after all those years I decided to participate. If you do see this Glitcher I'm sorry it's my fault your chance got destroyed, though I really wish all of you could put this behind you.

On the subject, I'd love to do it, heck my brother would love to who has a degree in art, just don't have the time to do so, which is why I didn't enter the Guest Comic because I was working 2 jobs during the holiday with no time to make anything. But I'm interested in seeing what happens, though I'm sorry to hear Salamander can't continue.

This in no way is your fault Rosy. If you wish to submit anything we will have a small one paged script available soon. The script will cover pretty much everything we wish to see in our artist.

I hope you guys find someone. Boy that's a shame about Salamander, but she did some damn good work. I look forward to whatever happens next happy.gif

I just wanted to tell you that the hardest thing I've faced
Wasn't the teasing or the pain
It was convincing myself I wasn't stupid, strange, or lame
And helping others do the same.

Sorry, but holding you responsible for your actions isn't "discrimination", and it's perfectly "fair".

(I didn't want to drag out this discussion, and I'm sure nobody else wants to either, but crying "discrimination" and "not fair" when the situation is your own fault just isn't right. You want to know why some people don't like you? It's because you pull stunts like that right there.)

Well Nique, we are getting a lot of offers so Sea3on should continue soon. And some of these artists are rather good.

Chief, if you're denying Glitcher because of some stupid argument, holding onto a grudge this long is just stupid. I don't want to get on your bad side, I have to say you have to at least give Glitcher a shot. He's really annoyed since you still seem to have something against him. And frankly, I am too.

It has got nothing at all to do with holding grudges, it's about getting along with the people you work with. Personalities have clashed in the past, and they have kind of clashed again since then (with some tongue-biting to keep the peace). Hell, our head-buttings nearly resulted in the Bunnie Short never being published. Yes, the hatchets we threw at each other were buried and the Short was completed, but who's to say sparks won't start flying up again somewhere else down the track? Why would we want to put ourselves in a situation where we would be working, at a greater capacity this time, with someone that has already been proven we do not respond well with? One of the main reasons Sea3on has been such a success is the people on the staff all work well together. We are not about to risk that by inviting in people that are the opposite to that. Whether Glitcher is annoyed or is a really awesome artist is quite irrelevant; the good of the comic is what's important.

You won't be getting on our bad side, Inhibitor, that's silly. You and other people obviously feel strongly enough to speak up about this and that's cool, really. Those are our reasons, and we're not changing our minds on the matter, so can we please move on from this now?

As for the Nicole Short Glitcher mentioned he wanted to work on, we dropped that idea because the plot clashes with what our head writer has already started to plot out (no spoilers, so don't ask for 'em! wink.gif ).

Has Carina Kadow (however it spells) applied or you contacted her?
He/She (I suppose she) would do well, at least I think that.
