I laughed when the narrator said. "If there's a storm blowing through, there's no quick way down." Oh yes, there is. I've been thinking it ever since this video started. How much of it can you watch? @_@

I made it to the end, but my palms and soles did sweat a bit.
You'd have enough trouble getting me to climb an ordinary ladder up a few feet up off the ground, though, let alone something like that.

Some dude attached a video camera to his helmet as he climbed a TV tower up to the top. It was part of his job or something. That thing was higher than the Sears Tower in Chicago, and had no gates or anything at the top. Just you on a ladder hoping it doesn't rain.
I made it to the end of the video as well, and decided that's not the job for me.

There was a bit at the end, where he had the safety hook thing clipped on, the dude was holding on with ONE hand. O.o It looked like he was leaning back all casual-like too...

On the positive side though it told me there are modern towers of babel all over the place doing just fine.

What? They haven't heard of meteorologists, or thought to look up at the sky before bothering to climb the thing? Storms typically don't sneak up on people. At least, not around here they don't... If your line of work involves doing something that can be affected by the weather, you're supposed to find out what the weather's supposta be like before doing it. As I've mentioned before: You won't find me out pulling wells if there's a storm forecasted or looming on the horizon.
Hold on, it's not a dirty job. Well, I guess it could be, you know, if you shit yourself. haha
They have a very loose definition of "dirty", which encompasses "dangerous" and "stupid".
