@  furrykef : (25 July 2015 - 03:35 AM)

When was that? Depending on when it was, it might have been a DNS issue. Those should be gone now.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

on*

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

Long time ago In a galaxy.....well our galaxy, My original Character I used to represent me on the Internet was this guy.....only he looked more like a bad recolor (I mean Bad) of Sonic the Hedgehog from Sonic Advance (Heck his name was RedSonic4).

With Green Skin.

Because the only Program I had at the time to use with my sprites was Picture It. Which....really wasn't designed to use Sprites.....

Later I figured out to use Paint and the character evolved....blah blah blah....boring boring boring.

After a while I dropped the Character for the Human Red.

However RS4 appeared in almost all my Sonic Projects until about 2 years ago where I replaced him with a different Red with a completely different backstory and all that fun stuff.

Sometimes I wonder if sticking with the original would have been better.

Pillow Shading is that the light source is directly between us (the viewer) and the object.

Ah. Yeah, I didn't notice that. (Probably because the shading isn't all that dark in the first place, so it doesn't call much attention to itself.)

Meh. I've been experimenting with different shading options. Just trying to find one that works.

In that particular picture, the eye shines are on the upper right, which suggests the light is coming from that direction, so most of your shadows should be on the lower left of things.

One of the little flaws in my art is, if I'm not drawing a comic, I always draw the eye shines on the upper right. (I rarely color or shade my pictures, so it usually only shows up in the eye shines.) This bites me on the occasions where I do try to draw a comic, because suddenly I have to think about which direction the light is coming from, and I forget to do it.

.........apparently I have that same problem. I've been drawing eyes that way since Junior High and I never noticed.

So I've been inking some of the Twins Artwork for them so they decided to ink something for me. Course they're old school and use Pens and stuff for their inking.

Okay this was meant to come out like a Week Ago...but Photoshop wanted to be a pain in the butt and Not let me save the file as a .png. Which wouldn't be so bad if it would let me save it as ANYTHING THAT WAS UPLOADABLE!

I was reduced to transferring it through Microsoft Paint man....

Special Thanks to FurryKef for the Inks.

Of course now all the flaws in the inking are staring at me. I'm hoping Manga Studio 5 will make it easier to fix errors or not commit them in the first place. Or, failing that, a Cintiq, which I'll start saving up for once I've got some money rolling in.

So far there is a cover, inside Cover, page 001, and two (well....sorta) Holiday Pages.
