Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

Hey everyone. I'd like to take the chance to periodically share some of my music with you. A little bit about my music. I use Sibelius and Logic to write and the sound samples are Garritan Personal Orchestra 4.

I'll be posting the mp3 here on the forum and also link it to my Kongregate profile if you'd rather listen to it there. You can find all my music at my soundcloud.
I've just recently purchased GPO so this was my first attempt at creating anything with it. This first song was commissioned by a friend of mine 6 years ago in college. It was my first composition project and to be honest, when I opened the original file last week I cringed at what I heard. So the past few days I've taken it, re-written it, and made it sound alot more real than it used to.

Anyway...As I write more music I'll post it in this thread rather than creating a new one...making it my own personal radio station ^.^

So...let me know what you think!

Merry Christmas to all of my friends here on FUS! About a month ago I asked everyone here what your favorite Christmas songs are. I was planning on taking your favorites and working them into a song but I wasn't sure how to adequately work songs like "Redneck 12 Days of Christmas" into an orchestral piece. The one piece I could use was "O Holy Night" as requested by chief (for reasons he wouldn't say xD.png" />). So I used that and some of my personal favorites to create this. It's a little present from me to you. Merry Christmas!

I have named the piece "A Christmas Journey" because for me it was quite the journey in writing it. This is my first attempt at writing a full orchestral arrangement. When I started, it was a bit shaky. However, as I progressed through the song I learned more and more what it was I was doing. This piece not only portrays my love of Christmas but also the journey I took in orchestral composition. I hope you enjoy A Christmas Journey.

Well...it's been a while but I've been rather busy. This is a piece I actually did a few months ago but I've been tweaking it here and there when I've had the time. I finally decided it's about as good as it can get without going back to the beginning and tweaking the score (which is something I'm not going to do). This piece was my attempt at doing something "movie-like" There are two separate parts. It opens with slow moving piano and strings and eventually leads into a faster "hero type" theme.

Well....It's been almost exactly one year since I've added anything to this thread. Kind of odd that the last thing I posted was March 31 last year and now it's April 1. Anyway...I've got something for ya. This is one piece I had a lot of fun writing. This song represents just one part of a journey. In the beginning, you start slow. And then one at a time things start happening until you come to that moment where you're running as fast as the wind. Let me know what you think!

That's some gorgeous stuff there Baku! I love listening to this kind of music while I work. Your work kinda reminds me of Vangellis' early work ^^
Mildly disappointed to find that you don't have a website/webstore where monkeys like myself can hijack the MP3's for personal use! Get on that 'cos I would love a copy of some of these tracks.
How long does it take you to compose these beasties?

Actually...I do have a website...but I don't have any of my songs for sale on it. But all of my songs are on youtube, and there are ways to hijack songs from youtube.

Well...it's been a little while but I've been traveling. This piece I actually recorded in June but haven't been able to mix it til now. There's no computerized sounds in this one...it's just me, the instruments, and a bunch of microphones. Enjoy!
