Here is a kickass Japanese animated fantasy epic that will knock your socks off! i saw it 11 years ago in theaters when i was 18, loved it and always loved Ghibli since i watched Totoro including watcing Castle of Cogliostro and Warriors of the Wind (Nausicaa) as a kid.
This is Miyazaki's second best after Spirited Away! pure originality with Japanese mythology and style thrown in. The dub is quite good even though it's funny to hear BillY Bob Thorton playing a hillbilly ninja.

Yeah...definately not the right ones. Kiki's alright and I've never seen Cagliostro. My Miyazaki faves are Laputa, Howl's Moving Castle, and Princess Mononoke. If you really want to see what Miyazaki's made of...watch Mononoke.

Been meaning to see Princess Mononoke for a while, but have only seen the beginning of it. Maybe my library has a copy I can rent this weekend.

Yes. Kiki's Delivery Service was perhaps Miyazaki' most charming work, but it really doesn't capture Miyazaki's imagination like all of his other films do. I think most of that is because Kiki started with a different director, and Miyazaki had to take over after some issues.
Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away are my top favorite Miyazaki films of all time. I like how Mononoke was able to capture the many different cultures presented in the film. It's amazing. And Spirited Away presented a very believable character in very a very daunting situation. And Miyazaki's imagination in both films is amazing.
Believe it or not...

There are wild pigs in an exhibit in London zoo who look just like the... was it the Spirits of the Forest? I'm not sure. But Eee-by-'Eck and I laughed at them for a good couple of minutes because of the similarity.
