When was that? Depending on when it was, it might have been a DNS issue. Those should be gone now.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

on*

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

Sega and Archie are determined to run this series into the ground, and there's nothing we can do to stop them anyway, other than quit buying their pathetic excuse of a product.

Well, to be honest, that is one way to do it. If someone starts losing money for their choice of direction, it does make one rethink things. Money's a powerful motivator to some. wink.gif

why does everyone hate the ruby spears show so much? I would love it if the comic was like that.

Also if you are thinking that Archie can't turn anything into a adult comic.. You haven't read the new series "Life With Archie".

Don't forget the awesome TMNT series way back when as well.

TMNT began life as an adult comic, so the Archie comic being mature wasn't a huge leap. tongue.gif

Yes, however the writers of the comic maintained a mature, well written pace throughout its 50-something issue run (and all those awesome mini series, spin offs and specials). Ergo, Archie didn't fuck the series up. wink.gif

As for how Archie will treat Megaman, who knows. I never played a Megaman game in my life. Maybe Capcom won't be the same size arseholes that SEGA are in how they control the comic's direction.

With Pat Spaz doing the art, it's sure to be a visual treat.

While I'm skeptic about Flynn being the head of this new comic, I have to say I agree with Glitcher with Spaz doing the art. He was awesome when he did the cover art for Sonic back in the day, and I sure as hell can't wait to see what he brings us now.

I would have too.

I loved the way they drew Megaman, Roll, Dr. Light and Wily.

Heck, even the Robot Masters looked cool.

Even the voice actors were nice.

The only thing that Ruby Spears really messed up Megaman on was plot.

Too many brainwashing episodes and corny jokes.

And let's not forget horrid stories like the Lion men, the purple genie and the robot academy.

Those are a black eye to any Megaman fan.

Also, I never understood why Capcom of Japan chooses to make Megaman small like a child.

He was so much cooler as a teenager and muscular.

Well Mega Man is based partially on Astroboy, so it makes sense to make him a child.

Also the cartoon made Blues evil,.

Yea, I never liked the idea of Protoman being on Wily's side. It's too bad the cartoon didn't have Bass as Wily's assistant instead. I mean, the cartoon and the debut of Bass on Megman 7 wasn't too far apart.

That would have been some solid advertising for Megaman's new rival on the SNES

But at the time the cartoon was being created, Forte (Bass in Japan) was also only in creation. The cartoon would have to be completely remade to fit Bass in.

Perhaps, but it sure would been a whole lot better than the garbage we had.

I mean, we all know Protoman isn't evil and wasn't built by Dr.Wily.

Guess Ruby Spears likes to take creative liberties with popular work.
