@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

trailer on youtube
Article from shogun-gamer

0.0.....okay just to be safe I'm calling BS right now that this is most likely fake. To me there are several posibilities,

1)It's a hoax to spread thoughout the internet
2)It's a fan flim
3)It's a leaked version of IGN's april fools joke for next year(remember the Zelda trailer?)
4)It's for real and Nintendo has proved that they can and will whore themselves out at the drop of a hat.(Least likely)

edit: Yeah Jessie and James packing heat at 0:06(notice Meowth between the two)nice touch.

I'm just going out there and saying that its a fake. If it were a real trailer or movie.. It would be whored out all over the place by now. We would have heard what actors were doing what long LONG before any filming.

Fan movie? Doubt it.

From what Ive just read on the net about it from a few different sites it just sounds like a rather good fake. I mean kudos to whomever created it. Decent graphics, water marks, and bad "Hidden filming".

I would have thought by now Nintendo well and truly proved that point when it comes to their respected characters.

Also, death to Pokemon! A stupid craze.

This will be as good as Dragonball Evolution. It will probably be directed by Uwe Bole too. However, I will go and see any live-action Pokemon movie that has Jessie and James trying to mimic the Team Rocket jingle and dance from the animated series (all 40 of them).

Turns out it's a fan-movie project called Pokemon Apokelyse. Basically the pokemon world gone to hell in a handbag, training and pokemon battles are outlawed. Team rocket controls undground pokemon battles that now are much more violent and desides who wins every battle, and one of the best trainers is Ash.

I gotta say that was good. Still won't be anything more then just that trailer but .. I liked it and I don't even like pokemon. Although I did laugh at the "prepare for trouble.." "And make it double". So cheesy and straight from the original cartoon.

wow, that trailer made me feel dirty. There's no way you can say any of the cliche lines straight.

I'm calling BS on this one, but, it's very good BS and it's a great chuckle. It does pose the question; would a live action Pokemon actually work if it were retold in a westernized style? Already you've got the concept of underground animal fighting in there.

oh, did anyone see the news feed. Professor Oak "You Cannot Ignore My Girth" sexual....

there's so many little funny oddities that you can miss in one viewing. Meouth with a machine gun, geodude bloodying his fist with someone's brains, and Mewtew putting a gun to Jess's head. They were really clever with this.

I have to say that was pretty good for a fan-made trailer, and honestly I love the plot idea for a real life Pokemon that isn't so dumb and on a darker level. Heck, even Team Rocket were more sinister in Season 1 of the anime, in fact they had guns in more than one episode, just the english dub screwed that up, and one of those episodes never made it here. After that, Team Rocket just became utter morons and you can't even think of them as a threat anymore.

I do like taking it on a more mature level, with the illegal animal fights underground, the hint of Ash & Misty's relationship being more serious, possible murder of Professor Oak while trying to get Ash where it'll hurt while hunting him down... I mean this is clearly meant for people that watched and played gen 1 of Pokemon when it first came out and have grown since then, and want to see something more than the same old stuff the anime does over and over.

The only thing is like... Pikachu looks deranged, seriously. Otherwise, I think this would make an awesome movie, too bad they only did a trailer though and have no plans to do more.

Something about this trailer looks...familiar...

Hey, Jman. Was this trailer made by the same guy who made the Megaman fanmovie?

I don't think so. It looks to be made by two different groups.

It's fake. There was an interview, and from what I can gather, the ambition only went so far as to create a trailer seeing as it was based on a joke on the increasing trend of remaking classic childrens' nostalgia with the dark grim and gritty premise.

A shame though, I really want this to be real. Maybe if we ask enough times?

If you ask people the same thing over and over, eventually they will say ok. Wait, that's not how the saying goes. Er... If you tell them it is a good idea over and over, eventually they will believe you.

I read it on www.pokemondream.com and it mentioned that fans of the video games actually protested outside WB headquaters
