A Story About Your Forum Name.

Used to be SoulTenor nearly 3 years ago. I used to play quints in a marching battery (or drumline for you folks that saw the terrible movie that gives me pain to this day in the same way CSI does to furries).
Changed it to BigWigRah after not having marched for a few years, since the identity was gone. I'm now a musician in a more "western classical" sense, with a much greater knowledge base in other instruments and histories. BigWig is one of the characters from the novel Watership Down, but he was never actually a chief rabbit, or "Rah." I always though he could have been a rah given how much he learned and grew throughout the story. Perhaps in an alternate universe he broke off and formed his own warren. I talk about WSD way too much to FUS's annoyance, but it just feels so relevant sometimes.
Not very original, but I'll bet not many people would get the reference.

Ratty = http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/27805
Randnums = Rand, which is ancient programmer shorthand for "Random" + nums, same for "numbers". Thought it would be better than Ratty234256

Truthfully, the Gamemaster persona existed long before even the INTERNET did! In high school and college, I was often helping my friends and dormmates with video games...showing them all the hidden areas as well as how to defeat certain bosses. As such, they would refer to me as "Gamemaster", probably based on another famous Gamemaster we all know and love. *COUGH*CaptainN*COUGH*
Nowadays, the name is related to the fics I write...though I REALLY need to get back to writing. Heck, I should even start work on what Heroes of Arcadia ORIGINALLY was...an idea for a paper and pencil RPG like D&D where you can role play and video game!

What was your name before? Also no worries there, at least one of our most liked and veteran members is a WoW enthusiast.

Anyway...my name's nothing special. I needed a login name for a forum about 6 years ago and came up with it and it's stuck ever since. It's simple and not followed by a bunch of random numbers. I tend to follow something I ran across called the Tasselfoot theory of usernames which states that "There is an inverse correlation between the number of numbers in a person’s username and their general level of internet intelligence and maturity. There are also 2 corollaries: The X factor, which deals with number of X’s at the start and end of a person’s username, and the random letter corollary, which deals with a username made up of seemingly random letters."
Basically...the more random numbers there are at the end of a username(placing "randnums" at the end doesn't count), the less likely it's possible for said person to hold a worthwhile conversation. Now don't let me offend anyone on the site...this is merely a theory, not a law, and there have been many times when I have seen this theory broken, but for the most part I've noticed it stays true.
