When was that? Depending on when it was, it might have been a DNS issue. Those should be gone now.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

on*

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

Ugh why did he have to die?
I mean I know he died happy and all but it still doesn't seem fair. I wish I would have at least known about it or known he was sick or something.

That was a really nice video dude, good job. You got the tears flowing that's for sure. I was about to ask if you had a song because I was thinking of making a tribute as well with a short song I have. Anyway thanks, that was really beautiful.

I just wanted to tell you that the hardest thing I've faced
Wasn't the teasing or the pain
It was convincing myself I wasn't stupid, strange, or lame
And helping others do the same.

He was more than just a writer. He was also a voice over, a pilot, a DJ, he had worked with people like Mel Blanc and Richard Simmons. I wish I could remember half the stories he told me. Maybe I'll try to remember some and post them later on.

His Captain Planet story was the best.

He may be gone, but he left one hell of a legacy behind.

Thank you, Sonique... or is it okay if I call you Alison? I'm very sorry and I feel bad for you since you personally knew him. Me, I lost someone in the Sonic community like every other Sonic fan, but I know you lost a great friend. I saw the video on your YouTube channel where he mentioned you by name, that must mean something big. (In fact, the picture in the end of my video actually came from that specific interview where he mentioned you.) So I really mean this when I say I'm sorry for your loss.

In my description, I didn't know which song to use at first. I chose "Tears in Heaven" but if you want to make a tribute to him might I suggest The Beatles' "The Long and Winding Road"? I hope I've been of help, and I'm sorry again for your loss.

This is a really sad day for me also.

I live in Sweden and saw this show during the 90's only a couple of episode and i loved them. But today i am a huge fan of the comic and the show. And i can say i will miss Ben Hurst but i don't think he would want the fans to give up hope for season 3 just because he died. He would probobly want the fans to continue to try to make that dream true.

PS: Please exkuse my grammar.

Beautiful video....it's hard to hold the tears back, but....hey, what can I say, the video and song fit. Excellent tribute.

R.I.P. Ben Hurst, you gave us one hell of a great cartoon, that will forever be kept in our hearts crying_anim.gif applaud.gif

The key theme of the video seems to be tears. Which is quite appropriate really.

Great work. I was touched.

I didn't know what to expect after not checking the forums for 2 months, but the passing of Ben Hurst is definitely something I wouldn't expect to see, or want to. sad.gif Rest in peace Ben. We'll always remember your work in Satam.

Why is everyone cool or useful in entertainment suddenly dying in the past couple of years? sad.gif

I know right? Michael Jackson, Bernie Mac, Farrah Fawcett, (Yes, I DID watch Charlie's Angels!) Billy FREAKIN' Mays, and now Ben? I gotta get to England FAST! bike.gif
