@  furrykef : (25 July 2015 - 03:35 AM)

When was that? Depending on when it was, it might have been a DNS issue. Those should be gone now.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

on*

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

(Yes I'm very dorky and ugly and have a fat ass)
I'm posting this cuz I'm giddy about it. Bought it last Wednesday, a 2004 Yamaha Virago 250. I'm looking forward to joining an evil chain-wielding biker gang now emot_amy.gif

Ive been wanting to buy a bike but.. its annoying here cause you gotta go for your bike test, your bike "ride with someone for a month" crap yadda yadda... And no one in my family or group of friends own a bike. So.. I'll probably just buy a bike, ride by my self, dont get caught, and go from that.

I think here when you're 14 you are legally able to own and ride a bike. But I think there's a few things you have to do for it. At least that was in my driver's manual when I was 15. It might have changed since then.

Bikes and cars are on different licence systems here, both are a pain in the ass to do too. Well... Its easier to get a bike licence since I have my class 5.. Instead of a year of riding with someone its only a month, and a few other restrictions that I won't get. Still a annoying task though.

Just watch out for people with pool cues, chains, nunchucks, mace, tazers, hot-shots, pipe wrenches, metal ball bats, billy clubs, and boards with nails in them... Oh... And giant novelty banannas...

I don't trust motorcycles. Of course, it doesn't help that my sense of balance is a bit off, so I'd always be falling over... I'll stick to a good ol' pickup truck.

Ali's no one-percenter! At least, I hope not. tongue.gif

Quite frankly, I'm envious, as I'm sure you're already aware. I wish I had that sort of money right now; it's all tied up in paying college loans. I've already gone out and taken the written driver's test (as per the rules in Wisconsin), but I've yet to take the road test because...well, yeah. I know a place up in the UP that rents motorcycles for cheap, but getting your license is kind of pointless when you don't yet have one yourself, so I've been putting it off. That and the fact that I don't plan on living in the state for too much longer (also making it pointless).

I think that was the idea...

Also, I think you've got your Mad Max sequels mixed up. Wes was in the Road Warrior, not Mad Max beyond Thunderdome. Though, he did have that nifty crossbow....

You can be my first passenger, CTM Hahahaha. Just wear as much body armor as you can...

It's pretty easy to get your license in my state. I got my permit and took a safety course. Once you pass the course, you get a little certificate which you bring to the DMV and then you don't have to take the DMV's rider test YAY...they just give you your license. I don't know how it would work without the course however.

Will probably ride it on the road for the first time tomorrow. YEEEHAW So yeah, if I don't post ever again you'll know why.

Bad to the bone, Ali. Let the raping and pillaging begin!

Not a big fan of bikes myself. Well, after about my tenth time falling off one I think I reserve all rights to not like them. ohmy.gif

Yeah, same rule applies here with the permit (which I got passing the written test) and safety course thing. Problem is, said safety courses are too expensive for me right now. The college I attended while I was in Michigan offers one that's drastically cheaper, though unfortunately I didn't get to them soon enough--they're booked for the rest of the year. Bummer.
