I would hunt it down naked, waving around a tampon and sprinkling KD everywhere I went.

That's it. I'm starting a petition to get Ian kicked off the book.

That's it. I'm starting a petition to get Ian kicked off the book.
And I'll be one of the first to sign it.
I cannot believe Ian. Is he being forced by Sega or someone to write a story this bad?

Cream is taping posters about missing Sol Emeralds around the forest.
You don't see a problem with this storyline?
In the words of a famous quote from 300, "This is madness!"

But that's just the comic book cover. That by itself doesn't necessarily mean it happens in the story. (And, if it doesn't, Ian might not be the one to blame for the cover.)

Perhaps, but he is the writer of this story.

You guys need to start thinking of the targeted audience. Either like it or don't and grow up. There is more out there to read then constantly reading kids comics that you obviously think suck because its not targeted towards you.
Like I said.. If you like it thats cool.
Maybe if there are some 8-12 year olds on here who complain how much it sucks and why. But I really don't see why a bunch of 20 plus year olds would.

My main problem with it is not that I'm not the main audience for it, but that the book used to take itself seriously and treated its audience with respect, this is just plain insulting to the books history.
And I'll go over this again that I don't think this a kid's book.

While its a well known fact that comic book covers have a notorious history of lying,
(See this for example

and this whole web site
super dickery
and for the Star Wars nerd in me this

)
you can still tell what the tone and the entire feel of the comic, just by looking at it and this covers has me scared shitless.
Edit: I'm kinda surprised you'd say that Chief, aren't you one of the current co-owners of this site? Don't you want the last remnant of SATAM to live up to its predecessors legacy and to maybe hopefully surpass it someday?

... You just may be on to something.
At the end of the day, Sonic's key audience will always be children. Besides, it's not like any of us have to read this arc, let alone pay money for it. It will be done and over with before we know it... or it might be an alright story... has anyone even read it, assuming it's out?

You hit the nail on the head.
This comic can't be taken seriously with goofy stories like these.
How I miss the days when this comic had epic stories.

To be honest, the comic could never be taken seriously. Even among the more serious arcs before Endgame, there were plenty of comedic side stories in between. After Endgame, well... it wasn't any good anymore anyway.
